Have any Muslims joined the EOs? Or anyone from a different religion?

Have you ever traveled anywhere by ship?

Do you like fishing or hunting?

How about boating?

Ever been to the store "Cabella"? :P

Well that is good so it insures only the very best get chosen.

What's your most favorite job you ever worked on?

What was the first social media account you created?

How old were you when you got email?

Favorite subject in school?

Have you ever been to Canada before? Do you expect it to be majorly different than the US?

Do you have a favorite actor? (You've mentioned a favorite actress)

Why are questions so fascinating to you?

Why are you so fascinating? :P

If you could be known for any world record thing, what would it be?

How do you want people to remember you after you die?

If you married someone who's name began with a D, would you name all your children D names? :D

Are you going to give short boring answers to all my questions? :(

Despite my discouraging day today I find teaching debate to be my favorite job. Seeing students improve and learn over the year is extremely rewarding. Seeing them go on and do great things with their lives is an amazing feeling. I've been teaching for nine years now and despite some low points overall it's my favorite. Film making was rewarding sometimes but it usually involved dealing with personality types that clashed with my own. Political consulting is my least favorite job, just so many compromises I had to make and people I disagreed with. I enjoyed bartending but the jobs I got were usually really long and not the best pay. I did enjoy when I was doing research and writing but I didn't get paid for that and I haven't really been able to do that much.
Miss Friendship wrote:What was the first social media account you created?
I created a Xanga when I was in highschool. I kept that up through my first year of college when I got Facebook.
Miss Friendship wrote:How old were you when you got email?
I really don't remember, I didn't use email very much until I got to college.
Miss Friendship wrote:Favorite subject in school?
History by far, I enjoy reading about past events and people. Is debate a subject?
Miss Friendship wrote:Have you ever been to Canada before? Do you expect it to be majorly different than the US?
I have not been to Canada before. I expect it will be different than the US but I've been to really different countries before so I don't expect too much of a culture shock.
Miss Friendship wrote:Do you have a favorite actor? (You've mentioned a favorite actress)
Who did I say was my favorite actress? My favorite actor, that's tough. Neal Patrick Harris is pretty great, he was in a sitcom I enjoyed called How I Met Your Mother. I also like Timothy Hutton, he was in a series called Nero Wolfe and another called Leverage. Gary Oldman plays a lot of great roles and is very versatile; he played Commissioner Gordon in Batman, he was also in Harry Potter. I've really been enjoying Peter Capaldi in this season of Doctor Who.
Miss Friendship wrote:Why are questions so fascinating to you?
Because I enjoy talking about myself, only half kidding, but also because they make me think. Like with the question about favorite actor, I had to think about media I had watched in the past and apply a more critical eye to it and think about what I had liked.
Miss Friendship wrote:Why are you so fascinating?
You tell me
Miss Friendship wrote:If you could be known for any world record thing, what would it be?
World's faster reader
Miss Friendship wrote:How do you want people to remember you after you die?
The selfish answer is as someone who had a lot of wise things to say and did a lot of amazing things, possibly a famous author. But I actually hope to be remembered as a Saint because then I won't actually care what people think of me.
Miss Friendship wrote:If you married someone who's name began with a D, would you name all your children D names?
I would name a boy David because that's a family name. But as for girls Catherine, Elizabeth, and Maria are my top three choices.

The worst thing I'm willing to admit to here is working for the Koch brothers.

Well friendly is a good start. I would say shared interests is a good start but I also have friends who are passionate about things I'm not interested in but can make me care about what they care about. So I guess passionate would be the main quality.

I don't really have a system or anything, I generally let their actions speak for themselves, with the obvious exceptions of people who say really racist or sexist stuff.

I have not dated, I have been on several dates but nothing long term or serious came out of them.

I prefer to take relationships seriously, which depending on who you talk to is courtship or dating.

For me there are several big differences between dating and courting, at least as far as those in favor of courting say.

1. Courting involves the families of those interested in a relationship, this can be as little as making sure both families meet and approve of both parties in the relationship all the way to families arranging the courting and being present whenever both people in the relationship are together. Another common element is the man calling and asking permission of the woman's father to court his daughter; this was actually a rule at my college. My opinion of this is that family knowing and approving of my significant other is a good thing but not necessary. In my case the dates I went on occurred without either of us telling our parents or me calling the woman's father. In college one of my friends ran into a problem where the woman he wanted to date did not have a good relationship with her father and so if my friend had called the father would have said no just out of spite. I think that's a serious issue with the courtship model in that it assumes a healthy family situation and doesn't allow for unhealthy ones.

2. Courting often assumes that you don't begin courting until you are ready and sure you want to marry the person you are interested in courting. While I don't believe in casual dating, especially for the purpose of casual sex, obviously. I think that one can date for the purpose of getting to know a person they are interested in but not ready to commit to getting married, often it can take intentional time together in the context of dating but not courting to decide whether this is a person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

3. Lastly courting often places limits on physical affection before marriage, this can go all the way from no sex, which I agree with, to no kissing or the extreme of no holding hands.

Yes I am. I don't think courting is a good model for relationships.

The Koch brothers are American billionaires that own a lot of industry in America and spend billions influencing politics in America.
