So He is limited. He cannot bless grape juice. Got it.

By insisting that wine is normative and not mentioning any exceptions, yes.

No, I'm not. Normative does not mean exceptions aren't allowed.

Why don't you ever tire of debating with people you know will never change your mind or you theirs? You may say to understand them but do you truly feel that happens?

Sometimes I tire of debating people. But for the most part I do want to understand others and also I might convince people watching the debate.

What do you think of PF's "multiple ways to do good; therefore God" argument?

So, the EO church hasn't really taken a stance on pacifism/war except saying that war is bad. Are you a pacifist because your specific parish holds to that, or because you have found the most compelling evidence for this?

Explain how confession to the Priest works.

I find it flawed, there is one way to God; Jesus Christ. There are multiple ways to find our way to Jesus but those ways are not paths of salvation.

Because the evidence compels me to this. Specific parishes don't hold to beliefs like that though, we are in agreement on the core issues but on the non-essentials there are many different views within a parish.

In the EO tradition the priest is not there to act as an in between for God, in fact the priest says as much before confession that it is not to him we are confessing our sins to but to God. The priest is there to hold us accountable, give advice, and give absolution of our sins. Absolution coming from John 20 where Christ says
"So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
This is part of the Apostolic Tradition and Succession.

Would you rather own a water-powered car or convince me in every debate we've ever had? *hopes this is a tough question*

…A water powered car, you would never have to buy gas again

How old were you when you graduated?

Have you ever watched the movie “Ever After?”

Have you ever visited an Anglican Church?

Do all your Twitter friends who are not married, want to be? Does Clare really want to be as rich as the Darcy’s?

I was 17 when I graduated high school.

I have watched that movie, several times.

I have, I went to St Paul's Cathedral in London for Easter one year.

I think most of them would like to eventually, maybe not Barbara. I think Catherine doesn't care one way or another. Clare is mostly kidding about wanting to be as rich as the Darcy's.

Do you think people will ever run out of questions to ask you?

What is your favorite instrument? (i don't think you were ever asked this but who knows...)

How probable is it that MF will ever convince you of something in a debate? :wacky:

Woody: Let's see. I know you survived her
drama, I know she's a danger to
society, I know she's a lie, I know
Belle is unfazed by her wrath, I
know she has ox horns, and I know
I should beware of her.

I think there will always be questions as I will continue living and doing new things.

I liked playing guitar

If we debate often and enough topics, highly probable

I do play video games

Probably to do debate, I mean life altering is so significant; I can't think of many I've made.

The question of why the Israelite's killed so many people in the OT and why God seems to have endorsed and even commanded their actions.

Right now probably anything by Dave Ramsey

I don't like his teachings that if you're a good Christian you will be financially successful and that those two are linked. His shaming of poor people and his one size fits all financial advice that he sprinkles with Bible verses so it's "Christian" financial advice. His ethically questionable investment advice where he charges investment and insurance agents to recommend them to his clients.
