So recently I've been obsessed with oil paintings, after I visited an art gallery a few months ago. I decided I'd give it a try; they're not very good but I enjoy doing it so that's all that matters, right? :P

These are cool! I especially like the fox.
I tried oil painting--once. It wasn't easy.

Thanks! I got the fox idea from a children's book :P
It can get tricky-the paints mix sometimes but if it's not too bad, it can make it look better, it can add shadow. In most oil paintings, imperfect is perfect

Since oil paints take a few days to dry, my brother smeared the surfing guy so that is no longer one of my works

Cute! Every time I try to paint (even with that dinky kids stuff) it looks my rotary and muscle skills are highly lacking. These are really good though!

Didi, these are really nice! Oil paintings are hard. My favorite one is the surfer since I love the beach and surfing lol
The colors of the water looks so inviting to jump in XD

Thanks!! Oil painting can get hard; you have to learn the technique so the colors won't all mix together and stuff. Sometimes you have to let the background dry first (which takes about 3 days) so the foreground picture doesn't mix.

That sounds difficult...I forgot about how extensive the drying process is.
