What kind of genres do you want to make? Are you working on other stuff?

Yeah, I'm doing some other stuff right now. I don't really know what genre my music falls under I'm also planning to try out recording my cello.

I'm rendering a remix of the Pokemon X and Y Elite Four battle theme right now. 5 minutes and 13 seconds long, and it's only looped twice!

Awesomesauce! I can't wait to hear it! I listened to the original track. I liked it. It's very upbeat. I wonder what the BPM is. The sound was very reminiscent to a drum & bass track. Purely based on the drums. Not really anything else though.

I thought the song was more dependent on the bass and that awesome guitar melody. Anyway, I listened to mine and realized I made a few mistakes with the guitar and synth tracks (I didn't add the synth track because of difficulty, but the song really feels kind of empty without it.), so I'll probably have to take today and maybe tomorrow to finish it. Sorry!

BTW - My version is at 175 BPM, and the official sounds pretty similar.

You should look up how to add synths to your track on Youtube. Cause having them in your production will flesh it out quite a bit.

And seriously, take your time with it. Don't rush it. I have that problem. You want it to sound the best that you can make it.

I can add the track, but those synth arpeggios are going to be hard to reproduce. The MIDI I have for reference is in a different key than my remix.

Edit: Well, whoop-de-doo! The synth track sticks out in the song like PF at a KRE meeting, so I took that out. I also took out a section that I can't make work without the synth.

It's completed and can be found in the main post with all my other songs. It's supposed to be played during a quiz show, while the contestant is guessing the answer. The explosion at the end is when the contestant answers and fails.
