This little corner shall be where I post little bits and pieces- my photography, artwork, perhaps a bit of writing, etc. Hope you enjoy it!

First of all, as many of you know- I am a great lover of taking pictures. Photography is one of my passions. I use a Canon Rebel T3 for snapping nearly all my photos, and I have been in several photography classes. This year I am taking a coarse called "Hymn Photography". Every week the teacher gives a hymn, and we must take a picture to reflect the words of that hymn.
This week was "The B-I-B-L-E"
I wanted this picture to reflect a few other things, as well. The darkness around the edges of the photo is like the sin of the world, the heart portrays God and His love, directing us onward to the light. (heaven)

Renae-- on review days the teacher will take each of the students photos and show them to the class, without telling who took the picture. The students will then review them and each give an opinion of each photo. I'm not sure how, but the students always seem to figure out which picture I took- anyways they figured it out and the feedback from both the teacher and the students was good! (= oh, and thank you for your kind compliment!

Of course they knew it was yours, Suzy....the picture is awesome and you just look like someone who would take awesome photos (because you yourself are awesome) <<Did I even make sense right there???

Sweetie Lou, I'm astounded. I've seen this pic before. At first, when I saw it on your blog, I thought it was some gorgeous pic you found wandering around the web from some expert photographer. The concept, the attractive lighting... and I was touched by your explanation of it. A work of wonder is even more precious when it has such meaning and a lovely story to it. Your mind, heart, and skill have created a treasure.

That's so amazing, Suzy! I'm an aspiring photographer, but I don't have anything to take pictures of....How do you find ideas to....create pictures?
