The thread is asking whether it should shut down or not. So if one is arguing for its shutdown would that still be considered support?

Your opinion is still valued no matter what it is. We'd just like to know what your thoughts are, right now it's looking most likely that it will just go into retirement. Why bother with retirement? Why do we need three boards? What does CC offer that is unique?

Why should we close the board to the public? What does wiping the board off the face of the earth have to offer over putting it in read only mode and allowing access to PMs?

I'm not saying wipe it off the face of the earth, go ahead put it into read only mode. But it makes no sense to use up admins time on a board that almost no one posts on.

I'd still be there all the time!
And that's fine, but I think it can be safely said that there won't be consistent, frequent posting on the CC for quite a while. My guess is that putting more effort towards a Campbell County revival won't help when there are 3 boards and a posting depression.
