I have a feeling you left out some words, I can't really get that good of an understanding of what you were trying to say, but ok.

I kinda agree with you, Paul always first addressed the Jews when he went to a new city, mostly they would not accept him, well ok, they never really accepted him and his words. That is because God first promised his word to his chosen people, the Jews, but after they rejected him, he turned to the nations.

There were some Jewish believers at the time (and still today someplaces) who went around telling the gentiles they needed to be like the Jews in order to be saved, this is not true of course. God saved us by grace, not by our own deeds.
Also, all the Jews who said they believe in God, but didn't believe in Jesus, were not saved, even though they "believed" in God.
