Happy Day

You're probably thinking, what's a topic called Happy Day doing in church? But it makes sense. After listening to two songs by two very different bands, I was just thinking about how happier Christians are than non-Believers. I'll use the two songs "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Happy Day" as examples.
In "Bohemian Rhapsody", the singer is singing about something horrible, something that we would never think to sing about. I'll give you an example line from it:
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooo
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters
You can probably guess what he's singing about. You may think, why the heck would a Christian ever want to read that? But it's really a good example of what life without Jesus can do. It can make you lose sight of your purpose, and do things you would never think to do when you're a Christian. I am not a huge fan of this song, but I still think it is interesting for those reasons.
Now, I'll give you some example lyrics from the song "Happy Day" by Christian rock band Fee:
Endless joy and perfect peace
Earthly pain finally will cease
Celebrate, Jesus is alive
Yeah, He's alive
Oh happy day
Happy day
You wash my sin away
Oh happy day
Happy day
I'll never be the same
I am listening to this song right now. I absolutely have fallen in love with it! The lyrics are so uplifting and true, and it's a fascinating contrast to "Bohemian Rhapsody". I believe I am oh so much happier as a Christian than any non-Christian. It's so amazing, that God's incredible love for us can make our entire lives 100 times happier than if we didn't have it. What do you guys think?
