Does anybody know about this fake-gospel? All I know is Irenaeus denounces it, that it's produced by the Cainites, that it is Gnostic, that it's preserved in Coptic, that it's a writing of the 2nd Century, and that the Coptic Manuscript is damaged.

I've heard of it. A lot of the 'gospels' that are not included in most Bibles come from the 2nd Century. I know very little other wise.

And the 2nd Century is the flourishing time for Gnostics. But, you have to notice that every writing that has something to do with the Virgin Mary such as "The Nativity of Mary" or "The passing of Mary" are Catholic.
