Christian Faith and Science

Hullo Everybody. Lately, I have been thinking about Science and how it can sometimes go totally against everything that we believe in such as Evolution. Other times, I also thought about how they can work together sometimes like the reason why so much of the Earth is made out of water could quite possibly be from the Flood (I'm not for sure, but it makes sense that this would be the reason why a lot of the Earth is water). I have also heard that people try to make it so that Science and Christianity go together like saying that a day for god could have been a million years or something like that and that that existed for the 6 Days when God was creating the Universe/World/Everything. I'm not saying that this is wrong, but I don't know if it is right or wrong. So, what do all of you think? Should Science and our Faith work together like days being millions of years? Or should it be that the Bible is taken literally for stuff like days being just a day? What do all of you believe? That reminds me, at my old Church, there was a College Professor from a Christian College that was my teacher and he said that it was not wrong to believe in stuff like Evolution, just as long as it was all instigated by God himself. Just post what you think about all of this Science going with Faith stuff below...

Well it does say in 2 Peter 3:8, but I don't think it really technically relates to the 6 days God created the earth. I believe that God created the earth in only 6 days not a million or something. In my opinion, I'd have to disagree with the professor on what he said. God didn't intend for monkeys to turn human, God created man and woman in his image. I don't think God could have been primate.

Who says that science and our faith in God can't coexist without Evolution? I wholeheartedly disagree with Evolution, and I believe in 6 literal days of creation, and yet I love science and believe that it shows that God exists. Evolution isn't actually scientifically proven. In fact there are several evidences against Evolution and for Creation. For instance, the fossils in the earth are laid out and buried in a way that matches exactly how you'd find them if there were a global flood. Trees are found that go straight through the evolutionists layers of time periods, showing that those layers in the rock could not have formed over millions of years. There is no way that the Earth could have happened by chance. God put it in the perfect place, with the perfect atmosphere. I believe that science does agree with the Bible, but scientists don't always agree.

Edit: Of course if there ever is a question about which to believe, science or the Bible, you should always trust the Bible. It is God's Word, and it is always true. It will never fade away.
