What is your favorite memory of the SS?

When I joined.

Well, it's a toss-up between creating the site for Jacob and all the late night chats with the girls.

Becoming a moderator.

The runner-up memories are:
Hitting 1,000 posts.
When everyone here was creating a fan site, and I was trying to catalog them all.

Woahh. Two years?!

My favorite memories were, as OJ said, hitting my 1,000 posts and another would be staying up till 3 AM chatting

Hmm...I've been here less than six months, but probably my favorite memory is fighting on the side of the KRE. Well...that and having PF tease me about every male being in sight. *snorts*

It's a 2nd anniversary, and we are climbing to 75,000 posts!

My favorite memories include, in no particular order:

Making spirited posts about Emily.
Debating with Pound Foolish about Valarie.
Playing games like Pop in Your Head endlessly.
Trying to convince Odyssey Fan Wiley that I had telepathic powers.
Holding conspiracy theories about Dr. Blackgaard.
Watching PF and Susy's antics.
Playing mafia.
And like Old Judge said, becoming a moderator. The extra spending money from my salary has been nice too.

One of my fave memories: Fighting ERK.

I would say my favorite memory was chatting wayyy into the night! Those days were sooo much fun. I miss them greatly.

Ah, yes. Our annual Mourn the Chat topic. But anyway...

1. Meeting all the pals I have here for the first time. T.S., (debating about Valerie, and I'm flattered to see that's one of your favorites as well) Suzy Lou (we first spoke in Introduce Yourself on the matter of having snake for dinner), Mr. Thinker, The Good Doctor (Eleventh Doctor: debating of course) and Helios (arguing ). Also, naturally, Blondie and Underseasie, though I don't recall when we first talked. They simply were always there, and we gradually grew on each other, and I now consider them both fond friends. And most of all, Sammy. Who I did indeed meet in the chat, and I must admit, it was delightful. I can absolutely remember the first thing I said to her. She had a Wall. E. avatar, and she asked her new pals for a hug, as she was leaving, and said, "Oh, does widdle robot want a hug? I will hug yoo, widdle wobot." And there you have our whole relationship.

2. Founding ERK, with no idea what a fixture it would become around here.

3. Finding the chat was GONE! Finally! Hooray!

I have to agree with everyone about the chatting. It was nice to feel so unified (not that we're not anymore.) I love the carefree nights when we would go crazy and I would laugh at this computer screen till my family thought I'd truly lost it.

Good times my compadres. Good times.

I can't believe ss has been here for 2 years!!!

Wow, I can't believe I've been here for over one and a half years!
One of my favorite things to remember was when taking breaks from my schoolwork to check the SS... (normally ended up being a longer break than planned )
Also, remembering how I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing when I joined. I had never been on a forum before, and didn't exactly know what the SS was. But I am so glad I did join!

WHERE IS THE ICECREAM AND CAKE???

I really have to look into my brain archives for that (Wow... a whole 1 1/2'ish 2 years. Deep in the archives. Haha)

My favorite memory was a Star Wars debate Noah (Wretched Sinner) and I had in chat. *sigh*

I missed my two year birthday. Even though I'm not the most frequent poster, this will always be my home. (As far as AIO message boards go. )

The SS is only two years old? That's almost as long as I've been here! Years from now, I'll be an old fellow telling the kids on here that I was around since the beginning.
My favorite memories are the SSEY, (The Soda Shop Early Years) back when we actively had Suzy Lou, Creativethinker, and, at the tail end, Sammy.
