Is it still considered a one word post if you quote someone?

Example:

Yes.

Yes.
Depends on if the one word post adds to the conversation or not.

Is there any possibility in the future for a Soda Shop app?

We need one?

Quite simply, no. The programming and time required would be a bit too much, even if we were able to get the board to "talk" to the app. A mobile style is a distinct possibility though.

Why can't you post "Quick Reply's" at the bottom of threads in the game room? As far as I know you can do that everywhere else...?

Is there a rule about how many pm's you can send?

Because we didn't want people's posts in the Game room to be quick replys, but instead thought out posts, since Jacob Isom didn't want spammy games.

Personal pms, you can send as many as you want. The only problem is if you are spamming or sending advertisements in pms, which aren't allowed.

Whenever I want to pm someone, it says I am unable to because I have not registered or have not participated enough on here. I already have posted over 50 times. When are you able to start pming other members?

That's weird....you should be able to.

It won't let me. When I go to "Compose a message" it says, "We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more to be able to use this feature."

OK. You seem to be still in the "Newly Registered Users" group for some reason. Which shouldn't be happening since you have more than 10 posts on the forums. I'll go ahead and remove you from the Newly Registered group manually.

Is there any way to make links a distinctly different color than regular text? For example, on the ToO, text is gray/black, while links are in bold purple.

+1 that question. I always end up copying and pasting the entire link instead of using the tags, because if I link a word or bloc ... Soda Shop is a super cool AIO message board.

You have to be hovering over the link text in order to see that it's different from the other text, so I would end up doing something like one of these:

The Soda Shop is a super cool AIO message board: http://odysseyscoop.com/forum/index.php

The Soda Shop is a super cool AIO message board.

Ask and you shall receive. Done.

example

ugh it's not working. Back to the ACP and endless cache-clearing...

What would you do in the event of the forums going down without explanation? Would you contact Mr. Isom first or each other?

Not sure what you mean, or why you're asking this? If it were to go down, we would do our best to get it back up as soon as possible.

What if you simply couldn't get back in because everything seemed to be gone, leaving a "The forums are unavailable at this time" message in its wake?
