I agree. It is a great idea, but I think the only people who would actually listen is people who still listen to the original Adventures in Odyssey. Others would just think of it as another radio drama that is like Adventures in Odyssey.

I heard about this. And it would be interesting if they did do something for older kids. However, I think they would have to be very careful, because I can see it going down hill fast. For instance, having old characters come back on the show...that could be cause for disaster. And having Connie and even Mr. Whittaker on the show regularly could get...interesting.
I think that if they did do a show, they should, and can, keep it Odyssey based, just totally different at the same time.

I was excited about this, and I'm disappointed it never got off the ground. It would have been interesting to see more mature subjects and more sophisticated jokes on AIO... (I do love the subjects and most of the jokes on AIO now, and I don't feel they're dumbing the show down for younger listeners, but I understand the writers are holding back on mature subjects and jokes that are harder to understand for obvious reasons.)
