I must say, this wasn't a bad year for my votes in comparison to past years. My votes for best actress, best sound design, and best scene won!
As for the story of the Averys, I did enjoy it. Especially the part with Evan David laying out the cast for the Odyssey movie . Made me laugh.

I enjoyed the story too. I thought it was cool that they made it take place in a creepy house which is also perfect for fall (or Halloween) I also thought that the cast for the Odyssey movie was hilarious.
Well, the results were released but it looks like I never wrote my thoughts here.
I liked this edition of the Avery Awards! In terms of the results, I thought they were fine. I am glad that the winner of Best Scene was Connie trying to get Jason not to think about submarines and inadvertently saying “sub” every time. That was a great scene which made me laugh. I think that the winner of Best Surprise, Jillian being an agent, was not that much of a surprise. I think that the Odyssey fans had suspected and joked about it from the beginning.
The ceremony itself was good, it was a really fun story! Bob and Jesse always do a great job hosting the awards ceremony and going along with whatever crazy things happen to them. If Bob and Jesse ever had their own audio drama, I would listen. I loved the fact that the whole thing this time was Evan David trying to get Bob and Jesse to make a movie about Odyssey. His cast proposal was great! Tom Hanks as Whit, Emma Watson as Connie, Andrew Garfield as Eugene, Vin Diesel as Wooton…..all the film industry references made at the end were absolutely hilarious! I also liked Townsend Coleman’s rescue mission and him acting like he’s actually Jason. Bob’s line, “This place has more passages than an Adventures in Odyssey bookshelf!” made me laugh. The AIO references made throughout the ceremony were great!
Overall, I this was a fun edition of the Avery Awards! I look forward to the next Avery Awards ceremony.
