Does anyone else think Eugene's dad and brother should return to Odyssey? As soon as Eugene discovers his long lost brother, he's gone! Slightly unfair.

That was a bit weird. If I had found my long lost brother I would want to spend almost all my time with him. They didn't even have scenes with Eugene and Everett talking to each other.

That was a bit strange.... I think they should come back! Or, not to sound morbid, but maybe when Leonard dies, Everett can come live with Eugene and Katerina...

@Liz- You know what Liz, that's actually a good idea!! Then Katrina and Eugene could be parents in a way. It would really add something interesting in Odyssey...

I'll concur, that would be enjoyable... kind of a heck of a way to treat Leonard though, when Eugene just found him.
But the most important thing is, it's absurd for Eugene to find his Dad and bro and then for AIO to pretend he doesn't exist. Leonard is Eugene's dad! That's reason enough.

That actually doesn't sound too far fetched to me. I mean, even with the surgery, Leonard is still only expected to live X amount of years. Why not let that happen on the show, and bring back Everett.

Perhaps... it would be emotionally heavy for the younger listeners though, and just confusing for the newer listeners who were somewhat uninformed about Everett, just to have him suddenly die. "Um, sorry your dad's all dead and all, Eugene. But I had no idea you even had a dad, so right now I'm just kinda lost..."
On the other hand, it seems Bill Kendall is coming back, (yay!) so who knows. Nothing like that will happen, as we all know. But it's a slight possibility he'll reappear sometime somehow.

Has June Kendle been in any recent episodes? I haven't heard from her in a long time.

Sadly, you're correct. She's vanished as well. Do you with Connie (and, it seems, Bill) taking center stage this fall, we'll hear from her again? It seems highly likely, unless for some reason they can't get the actress. (Which, as all we Bernard lovers know, happens.)
