If you're not perfect then stop framing everyone who disagrees with you as a fake Christian.

What belief of mine do you want me to back up? If you just want me to back up my belief that D&D is not occultic I can't prove a negative, I would say I agree with you that we shouldn't be engaging with the occult but that D&D isn't occultic and your arguments that it is don't convince me.

You are framing people as false Christians though. From your first post.
And there are a lot of "Christians" who aren't Christians at all. And dare I say it, I think most people on here might be phony/false Christians.

Or you could just not accuse people on here of being false Christians. I disagree with you but I don't call you a phony Christian.

Read your Bible. There's many people who think they are Christians, but aren't.

really?
just, really?
one, someone move this to the debate hall.
two, what? these statements you are making have no backing in scripture at all, and saying that people might be false Christians just because they disagree with you is just not right.
Kid, the first rule of debate is to not immediately dismiss other people's opinions. that's literally what you are doing. You just dismiss what everyone else says and insist that you, and you alone, are correct.
don't do that. You need to research. don't believe everything you hear. Look into what we are saying. Then come back. And don't say that people might not be Christians because they disagree with you.
Alright, rant over.

You know, the Bible doesn't say that Catholisicm is demonic. The bible doesn't say that Harry Potter and D&D are evil. The bible doesn't say any of that. You did. Defend yourself. Actually engage in a debate, because you started a debate and everytime someone brings up any argument, you just say look to the Bible.
You need to learn how to debate. And the first rule of debate is to actually listen to what others say, which clearly you aren't doing.

I'm listening to others. And I was waiting for someone to ask me to tell me to show them where what I say appears in the Bible.

D&D allows you to take on 3 different kinds of people. Evil, Good, or Neutral. The game also has many occultic words, names, and many other demonic things. The Bible says not to engage in that. Anything demonic is wrong. HP is a book series about magic. With wizards and witches making the occult appealing. Am I wrong about this?

We've been over all of this, D&D and Harry Potter are fictional, they're just telling stories. They don't involve making deals with demons. They aren't part of the occult.

I 100% agree with you that we should not practice the occult. But I don't agree with your opinion that these things are occultic.

I understand if you don't want to play D&D or to read Harry Potter but don't, pun intended, demonize Christians who choose to because they don't agree with your opinion on these matters.

Telling stories which inspire kids to join the occult. And stories inspired by demonic forces. And stories involving out-right occultic features.

Cause you're doing that...oh wait....

One of your arguments is that "two kids put a hex on their neighbor because of Harry Potter." Except you don't provide evidence of this "fact" you're pulling out. Furthermore, /anything/ can lead someone into a dark and dangerous path. It's because we're humans. All of us. Even you. And we're all capable of doing the wrong thing. If you feel that reading Harry Potter would cause you to then practice the occult, then by all means, avoid it.

But as far as me, I have researched these books, I have researched the author (who says she is a Christian by the way.), and I don't find that they are in any way written by the influence of the occult. Reading them, watching the movies, visiting fan locations while I was in London - none of it even made me think about practicing the occult. It's a wonderful story about friendship and bravery and having the guts to do the right thing.

Look, it wasn't in the news about the hexes. And those 2 kids were MY siblings before I was born. And why does a "Christian" use occultic symbols in his supposedly "wholesome" content? Occultists use Harry Potter to get people into the occult. Their top people say that. If you don't believe me...Then research it.

Who are these top people? Where did you hear them say that?

In debates & discussions people generally cite sources so it's not just you saying these things.
