So I am getting my own room really soon, and my mom said that I could paint it however I want. So anyway, I really want to paint piano keys about 6-8 inches high all the way around the top of my wall. The only problem is how do I make them all even? I looked online to see if there were any stencils I could buy, but I couldn't find any. I thought about making a stencil out of cardboard, but I'm not sure if that would get soggy after painting over it a few times. Anyway, any good ideas would be super appreciated!

Ruler, and a straight edge, and a pencil to mark the keys. Then use painters tape to mark the lines.
It'll take quite a bit of time, but that's my best suggestion.

What Belle said! Measuring out your design and then using tape to mark everything off.
Alternatively, you can make a stencil out of a sheet of acetate which you should be able to find at a hobby or craft store.
