Hey I thought it would be interesting to see how many of you play Chess and enjoy it? Its a very popular game but involves a lot of intense thinking. Personally, I love the game (although I am horrible at it) Love to find out who also plays the game!

Well I am glad to find other girls that enjoy the game
I have a friend who told me I was the first girl she met that liked Chess.

I used to play a lot, and, hopefully without sounding too pompous, I consider myself to be a fairly good chess player.

I'm a big fan of chess. At the moment I'm at least the second best player in our family (Haven't played anyone besides my dad, mom, and siblings, so I don't know If I'm really that good).

My husband is a semi-professional chess player.
I can play. I'm decent. I enjoy it once in awhile.

I'm not horrible at it. I'm not good at it. I do have a tendency in a game to focus on one area.

I can beat grade-schoolers. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANND that's it. Also, I like to kill all the pawns first.

A few weeks ago, I played with my pastor who literally said checkmate on my 5th move. -_-

How's it cheating?
You're just not as good a player as me.
And...checkmate on the fifth move? What'd you do, move all the other pieces out from around the king and hang a neon sign on him?
