It's a really big deal, millions of people have downloaded the game. I personally like the game. Unfortunately the game was recently sold to Microsoft, and so far, nothing has been improved. Does anyone else play? If so, what do you think about the game?

I play! And I love it. But I haven't played it for very long; like only a few months. I haven't quite figured out the realms yet… But other than that, it's awesome!

I don't understand the people who think that being sold to Microsoft will ruin the game.
Mojang. Still. Develops. The. Game. Independently. From. Microsoft.
Mojang. Still. Exists. As. A. Company.

Very good Mr. Whit's End. It's more of a joke than a reality that Microsoft owning Minecraft will ruin it.
@Clara, Realms is like owning an online server, but it's less complicated to set up. It costs more money than you might have to pay for a normal server, but I personally think it's easier to maintain.

I don't like Minecraft. At all. I really don't see what's so appealing about it.

I like it because I can build whatever I want in it. Also, getting extremely OP on survival servers is fun.

Six bucks is very cheap for a game, most games run $40 to $50
It's awesome, you can build anything and explore a huge open world

@Blitz, You pay 7$ for the IOS and Android version. The PC version is 27$. The PC is way more updated though.
@Eleventh Doctor, What servers do you play on? My username is Netherreaction.

Oh, play.mcball.net is a pretty cool one. It was the first server I ever joined.

I usually play on servers with NarniaQA Guy or Ryan Matlock...and occasionally with Audrey.

Actually, a few things have improved since Microsoft bought it. For one, they created a new launcher that downloads Mojang's own version of Java, so you don't have to worry about installing it yourself or making sure you have the most up-to-date version.
But that launcher hasn't been rolled out to everyone yet.
They also added the name changes, which have been planned for a long time.

Free games usually aren't that good, but occasionally you get a fairly good free game.
