I love singing, and I've taken voice lessons. I'd say I'm a good singer. I got into an ensemble that you have to audition for, and I'm also in a choir. I can sing both soprano and alto, though I prefer soprano.

From a young age I was put in a musical enviroment.....I play about 4 instruments and sing in three choirs...
so, YES I must sing (or face the wrath of my father )

As to my range, I have a low voice and sing alto.

I sing Alto. And I cannot sing very good (I can usually hit the notes, but my voice doesn't sound good). Though when we had a fall recital our music class had to sing a song and one of the girls said "I can only hear me and Abby singing" then the teacher said "Then you two lead" I was sooooo scared.

I'm sorry but I see it in an entirely different way. I find that sort of singing, umm if I can call it that, disturbing at the very least. I enjoy music that lifts the soul, not that makes you feel like your in a bar room listening to a Demond possessed man yell at the top of his lungs. Yes you may get a thrill, or a rush, but that's all it is. I find that music sickening.

I started taking professional lessons a couple of weeks ago. Low D to high C is my range. For anyone who knows what I'm talking about.
