I agree that they're different, but I still think LOTR is much better

I think you're just wrong, and that's all there is to say.

I am so excited for the movie! I don't know when I'll be able to see it, but I hope it's soon. I recently read the Hobbit and am currently working on the Lord of the Rings. I am kind of disappointed that they are adding stuff that isn't in the book, like Legolas, but in some ways I can see why. And also now that I've read Lord of the Rings and I see that Legolas comes from Mirkwood, it makes a little bit more sense. It seems to me that they're adding some stuff that they didn't mention in the Lord of the Rings movie that was in the books, like about where Gandalf went and how that was connected to the Lord of the Rings, in the Hobbit. They're connecting the Hobbit to the Lord of the Rings by adding to the Hobbit, instead of mentioning it in Lord of the Rings like they did in the book. That's what I think. But of course I haven't seen it yet, just heard about it, so I could be wrong. It's just something I noticed when reading the books.

I just saw it tonight, and it was awesome. Only complaint is that it was non stop action, even at Rivendell. But I still liked it. I loved the Riddle Game with Gollum, that was awesome. I liked the beginning and how they connected it to Lord of the Rings also. I'd say it was good, though I still like movies that stick to the book.

I love the riddle games with Gollum, too! I like the part:
Gollum: "Shut up!"
Bilbo: "I didn't say anything."
Gollum: " I wasn't talking to you!"

The riddle game was hilarious, and awesome.
That was probably my favourite scene. Second favourite would be the one at the end with Thorin and Bilbo. I was about to get really mad at Thorin, until he suddenly said that he was completely wrong about what he had said earlier about Bilbo.
