Re: The Rapture..

I don't get your purpose in posting this... A couple of your links say that the Rapture comes before the tribulation and a couple say it comes after. What are you trying to accomplish? :P

Probably. :P I've never much gotten into either one, so they sort of blend together in my mind. ;)

Re: Christian vs. Catholic

Christian He's saying that Catholics were the first to draw the conclusions of the trinity from such verses. Which is true if you look it up. (Mysteriously, that's true of a lot of generally accepted Christian concepts. How odd, considering we have things all wrong.) You don't have things all wrong...

Re: Christian vs. Catholic

...the Father begot the Son, the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father. These are things not mentioned in Scripture. What do you mean by this? I'm fairly certain that these two concepts are directly out of Scripture. "God sent His only begotten Son," "the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father ...

Sorry, Sam, Mario wins for me. Sonic feels too much like Pokemon to me. And I've never been interested in Pokemon. :P

The 2nd, 4th, and 5th won't show up for me...

I love the first one though! And the third one is very clever. ;)

Re: 727: Your Servant is Listening, Part 1

Another reason I just thought of for why it makes sense to include this scene is the character of Eva. She really didn't have much of a place in the story up to that point. Then she was able to use her skills as a nurse to help deliver the baby and ensure that Hannah was doing okay. I really cannot ...

Re: 727: Your Servant is Listening, Part 1

I actually found myself really liking this episode. I probably won't have a final opinion on it until I hear the resolution next week, but overall I found this show to be to my liking. And it's funny, because this is the way I felt with "The Perfect Church" last season. It gave me new hope...

Re: Memes

I actually find that picture somewhat offensive....but maybe that's just me. :/

I mean, I don't have a problem with Jesus dancing. But I don't need to see a picture of him in his underwear... >_>

Re: do you think men should wear pants?

I think this is actually a very valid point. If jeans are immodest on a girl, why should they not be immodest on a guy? Simply because his legs are less...attractive?

Re: Jewelry

Back in the time of Paul's writing, jewelry was worn by people who wanted to flaunt their wealth and status. If that's not your intention when you're wearing earrings, necklaces, etc., then I don't think there's a problem.

You haven't been in many conservative circles if you've never come across people who don't believe it's right for women to wear pants... :P

Re: Crushes

I love the Duggar Girls! I find them so modest, feminine and sweet! http://parentables.howstuffworks.com/media/images/promos/2012/12/duggar-inner-beauty-630x353.jpg Yes! This! If there's anybody who's truly beautiful, it's the Duggar girls. Other famous females are gorgeous on the outside, but nowh...
