Re: OAC Episode Discussion
I think that Odyssey just ought to stick to the topics we all agree on. It's like, why do I feel like I have to argue with Odyssey? That has happened on rare occasion, because usually they have something fundamental that we all can agree on. I disagree. AIO is meant to be a teaching tool as m...

Re: Friend Or Foe
The thing is, though, Jules has been around for three years now. By this point in both Connie's and Aubrey's tenure on the show, their characters had actually been taken somewhere. I mean, if Jules is actually going somewhere and at least changing in some way for some reason, then fine, but if she's...

I've been really getting into Miraculous Ladybug lately. Cute show, but dang...the fandom is a nightmare sometimes.

Re: The Harry Potter Thread
My dad's the best; he forewent a backpacking trip—even though he loves backpacking—so he and I could go to Universal for a weekend. Harry Potter's kind of always been our "thing". I can also get discounted Universal tickets because I go to college nearby.

Re: Chatter in the Booths
There's a difference between tokenism and using diversity as a storytelling tool. It's sort of like complaining about Rey from TFA because you think the only reason why she exists is to satisfy feminists. I mean, I'm not saying that tokenism isn't a thing that happens and is pretty obnoxious where i...

Honestly, I'm still blown by the fact that you're blonde. With a name like Belle, I sort of always pictured you as the Disney Princess.

TOO BAD YOU CAN'T CHANGE YOUR NAME IF IT MAKES ME UNHAPPY
Haha, I remember you back when you were GodsGirl. I still recall that one Applejack set you had (at least I'm pretty sure it was you). I...may or may not have lurked like a total creep on here for awhile.

Re: The Harry Potter Thread
Personally, I'm not convinced that Rowling had more than the one good story in her, but there you are. If I couldn't point to The Casual Vacancy or Cursed Child, I'd personally want a story about the Marauders' time at Hogwarts, mostly to shed some light and nuance on what the MWPP vs. Snape vs. Lil...

Re: The Harry Potter Thread
I return to tell you to read the books and only the books because the movies are TREASH.
(Unless you like seeing your stories gutted. Then by all means. ^_^ )
Also, I'm a Thunderbird. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was awesome.

I mean, to be fair, there's a lot that Whit has done "for the government" that's never really elaborated on. Sort of a nebulous catch-all explanation for his backstory.

Re: School
Better classes that actually challenged me, closer friends that I actually enjoyed being with, more opportunities to grow and show how I'd grown...high school became much more enjoyable once I started to let myself enjoy it.

Call it morbid curiosity, but would it be a problem for members here to support Connie/Jeff without feeling the need to tear another ship down?

Re: Great Odyssey Characters that have been Forgotten
The Barclays Donna, Jimmy, George and Mary (+ Stewart(The Baby)). I feel like it would be a crime to not put on some of the original Kids. This was one of the first Odyssey Family's, And probably most loved however when they moved it felt like they fell off the planet, However it was probaly for th...

Why is "Good Good Father" infuriating? I tend to lean toward dislike of "Oceans", myself.
