Re: Doesn't it Get Tiring?

I mean...that's just kinda how things are. You get into something, it runs its course, you have to move on to other things because God takes you new places and uses you in different ways. But then when life gets hard and you're tired and stressed, you get to a point where you remember "hey, tha...

Re: The Court of 11th Doctor Lord Ruler of the Debate Vampir

I don't want either Blitz or Belle—one, because Belle's got a point about the ex-captain thing, and two, because I question the merits of centralizing power on the board and consolidating more governorship in Belle's hands. I think the Debate Vampires should remain as an independent order within the...

Silence, rabble-rouser! We have far more relevant matters to discuss.

Does anyone have any nominations for an interim Debate Vampire leader?

Re: Anti-Connie+Jason Klub

Because VR technology like the Imagination Station existed in 1987. They're barely able to make advances like that now, actually. When you've got that, I can believe in a world where smartphones were around in the 90s.

Re: Photoshop

Dunno if this works for non-college students, but can you get the student subscription? It's a little over $20 a month for the entire Creative Cloud suite, so you have access to Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere, Audition, Acrobat, and other Adobe programs. I'm getting my degree in a digit...

Re: Anti-Connie+Jason Klub

It could, but again, Odyssey time isn't necessarily real time. The show doesn't have to be set in the year 2018 just because the year currently is 2018. The writers have always been clear on that, and the Odyssey Time thread over in the Front Counter subforum has some of the theories.

Re: Anti-Connie+Jason Klub

Jerry served in Vietnam, and we don't know for a fact that Odyssey time is real time. I think it'd be a bit odd if Jason was 85, seeing as it'd probably make Whit in his 110s or so. ;) I personally still think the age gap makes a difference, but it's not that simple.

Re: The Harry Potter Thread

Cursed Child sounded like ridiculous, over-the-top fanfiction, so I didn't read it and personally don't consider it canon, Word of Rowling or not. However! As far as the books are concerned, you can only choose your House if there's a legitimate conflict between which House you should be in; this i...

Re: Chatter in the Booths

All Hallows' Eve is the first part of the triduum of Allhallowtide, which takes place from October 31st to November 2nd. Apocryphally, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of Wittenberg Church, thus sparking the Protestant Reformation, on the same day. (More than likely, he just h...

Re: Chatter in the Booths

So on Wednesday/Thursday I pulled an all-nighter to finish a midterm project. 36 hours of no sleep. \:D/ It was actually the first all-nighter I ever had to do for college, so...achievement unlocked, I guess?

How could they be opposite just as they are not a sigh he is coming back ( its not in revulsions) how could they Be a sigh he is not coming back? I just explained that. Look at how accurately NASA can predict those events—solar and lunar eclipses can be predicted down to the second. And not just wi...

Re: End of the world

To be fair, we will hear of "wars and rumors of wars", and the 20th century has been one of the most violent, if not the most violent, century in history. World Wars I and II happened, of course (killing an estimated 16 million and 50-70 million people, respectively), but there was also th...

So owing to a number of stressors in my life, including some trauma recovery and the busyness of school, I'm going to be taking a break from the board and all AIO-related things indefinitely. I'll still be around; if I know you well enough, you can PM me and get my Facebook info or something, but fo...
