Re: Songs that make you Cry
Boo! Boo! Down with Carlos Santana! Up with Eric Clapton! *ahem* Um... sorry. Actually, Santana is one of the few "legendary" guitarists who I've never really heard much of. David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Jonny Greenwood, The Edge, George Harrison, Johnny Marr, and, of course, the legendary Ji...

Re: Football
I'm pretty sure we were both joking. Still, why all the hate for the concept of klubs from the administrative side lately? I'm not challenging your decision, I'm just curious.
On a slightly more related issue, Auburn or Alabama? Or do you care?

I'm liking this idea so far. We could call it AFSK... try to guess what that stands for (hint: it shouldn't take you very long).Blitz wrote:We should start a hate American football club.

Dang, I just found out I'm an ENTJ (from a personality test) and now I see that you classified both Regis and Jared as ENTJ.

Re: Last Movie you Saw
Selma. It was a fantastic, somewhat upsetting film. I can't decide if I like it or The Imitation Game better. It seems as though all good movies coming out lately have been based on true stories. I guess that's how it's always been though.

Re: Football
I despise (American) football as well, for no particular reason. Well, then again, it might have to do with the fact that it's practically all anyone talks about where I live. I gotta move to Europe...

Then yeah, it probably is a bit too random. It's okay if you don't want to answer this, but what era of Whit was it in? That'll narrow it down quite a bit.

Re: Video Games
I used to play video games a lot when I was about 10, and I'm still not bad at Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, but I don't really play them at all anymore, for various reasons. I do have a Steam account, though, and I would love to start playing Skyrim and Portal, once I'm allowed to play Skyri...

Re: Blimey Cow!
I find the main guy's voice kind of annoying (nothing he can do about that, obviously, so it's not criticism of any sort, it's just a stupid pet peeve I have), but the overall message of their videos is fantastic, one that I agree with wholeheartedly, and they manage to convey it in an amusing and r...

And if that wasn't bad enough, he spelled Barclay wrong too. Though this is beginning to remind me of one of Kevin McCreary's Youtube videos (I believe it's entitled Why I Hate Spelling).
As for Aloha, Oy, it was hilarious.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but all I know is that... WE'RE AT PAGE 100, PEOPLE! Okay wait, deep breaths, we're still not quite to 2000 posts, but let's just keep up all this random chitter chatter about Emily episodes so we can get there soon.

I have a confession to make... I haven't even started reading. *ducks* At least it's the shortest book on the list, so I think should be able to finish it with 2 or 3 days of voracious reading.

Re: The Mysterious Stranger
That's probably my all-time favorite mystery episode. even if "Case of the Secret Room" is the most "classic". I always thought the whole "beware" thing was a little stupid, even at the age of 7. The part that always scared me was the moaning Steven Wakefield at the end.

Re: Last Movie you Saw
I just saw the new Annie. It was just absolutely sublime . Great performances from everybody, fantastic script, and the sentimental fluff was delivered with subtlety and class. Definitely among the greatest films of all time, and I'm predicting it will inspire a new wave of quality family films. In ...

Re: The K.R.E. (Klub Rules Emily)
Agreed. It would have been bad if Emily wasn't the center of he episode, or if she was just used as a plot device to show us Whit's past.
