Re: Love... Wooton, and Penny: Will They Ever Admit It?

Bethany, let me try to understand what you're saying....is this a two against one scenario you're creating? Two Christians against one heathen, so the heathen will feel like everyone's a Christian but them? I'm afraid that Wooton's Dad wouldn't simply fall on his knees and accept Christ because of p...

Re: Odyssey's Spoofs on Other Media

The episode 'Two Sides to Every Story'...goodness...my memory..I think that's what it was called? Anyways, it was based on some sort of Japanese movie about these criminals with different sides to the story. And of course the classic movie 'It's a Wonderful Life' is tied into the whole Barclay famil...

I would have to agree with a friend of mine. He's the romantic type...might make a good marriage counselor someday. Quote: "CONNIE ISN"T MARRYING JASON BECAUSE SHE CONTRIVED A CRUSH ON HIM UP OUT OF BOREDOM! *gasp gasp* Understood?"

Re: New Profile Options!

Aftershocker, I don't think any name calling was really taking place. Bethany was just being silly. It's just that the profiles on here are quite simple and suited for our purposes...to talk about Odyssey and Christianity and such....with like-minded friends... and not post a hundred statuses or tur...

Chess is game for people who like to use their minds!! Hmm...no wonder I don't like to play chess. My brother was beating adults at chess when he was but 9 year of age.

@Bethany, do you make your own prune cake?

My homemade scones with homemade whipped cream or churned butter; my mum's cheesecake, my Aunt's raspberry pie, and vegan cookies. (Being Vegan can be a real bummer.) :(

Re: How much time do you spend on the Soda Shop?

Remaining on here for long periods of time is quite impossible...but lately I check things frequently to see the latest action. So even if I'm just on for 5 minutes, I try to come on at least several times a day. Btw, where is Wretched Sinner? I miss him, he's special.

Re: Honey's Garden

Yes, I wrote in one week. It was intended as a goodbye present for a friend of mine. This will sound unpleasant, but he was the inspiration for Roger's bland and laid back personality. If you want to see the rest I can post it.

Re: Honey's Garden

I agree. And I appreciate your honest feedback. I confuse even myself sometimes. The story is about a guy who doesn't know what he wants out of life and he has all this meaningless experience and then he becomes a missionary and gets married. But throughout the story he's haunted by this one thing a...

The subject says it all.

Which Katrina/Eugene episode was your favorite?

The episodes centered around them are some of the deepest and most touching...in my opinion. I could go on and on but I have to go clean my room :)

Re: Is it wrong for women to wear pants?

Questioning the right of women to wear pants. It's like debating women being able to vote. Debate and discussion on many (appropriate) topics is healthy and enjoyable. Even women's rights! But not when it comes to pants...seriously?? (No offense, I hope I'm not coming off as unkind.) Frankly, I'm ju...
