Not sure why He created us in the first place...we are such rebellious creatures, and deserve absolutely nothing but wrath from Him.

Re: Why Do You Think God Created Us?
When it comes to God, you can't fully explain with words. So I would say our relationship with Him is worship, companionship and a whole host of other things too. Simplifying it down to one word is impossible...

Re: Why Do You Think God Created Us?
Eleventh, you should know that! Its a simple truth. God loves us always, but if we walk away from Him and live in sin, we are out of fellowship with Him. You said yourself sin is something that separates you from God. -- Wed Mar 25, 2015 9:55 am -- Paula, couldn't God have created us for both purpos...

Re: The Court of 11th Doctor Lord Ruler of the Debate Vampir
Lol! No guarantee I will be nominated then. My question is, why choose such a creature as a vampire for a theme? They seem almost...no offence....devilish. Kill and drink blood? Although debating vampires or whatever sounds better....

Re: Should Christians (Followers of Jesus) go to War?
I know an ex-police officer. He attends our church. It took him quite a long time to wrestle through the reality of the two separate kingdoms. Many Christians don't realize Jesus preached about a new Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven. That was His mission to earth along with saving us from our sin. Chr...

Yes, but did you know Cal Jordan's real name is Adam, and that his mother's name is actually Katie Leigh, and not Katie Liege?

About your question Mr. Whitsend, you should do whatever you believe Jesus would do. Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Should Christians (Followers of Jesus) go to War?
TigerShadow..You're right, never have been in that situation before, so I don't know exactly what I would do. But at the same time, I want to know what I believe Jesus would want me to do. Mr. Whits End, Maybe you need to ask yourself the question, "Did Jesus really mean every word he said?&quo...

Re: Should Christians (Followers of Jesus) go to War?
I suppose that's what we will have to leave it at. Catholics and I interupt scripture differently. That's right, Mr. Whits End, as a Christian I follow after Jesus, the Prince of Peace, and He clearly taught to turn the other cheek, so I refrain from doing any harm to any individual attacking me. I ...

Re: Should Christians (Followers of Jesus) go to War?
I agree completely with Eleventh Doctor. War is a sin, always. When Jesus came to earth He started a new kingdom. He said, My kingdom is not of this world, if it were my followers would fight." John 18:36 Also, Those who take up the sword perish with the sword. Matthew 26:52 And in Matthew 5:44...

Re: Should Christians (Followers of Jesus) go to War?
I agree. Also just to clarify, would it be sin to go to War, or you are just wanting to avoid it? There is a difference. And about your thoughts on Catholics I would say that it goes both ways. I would say some truly are saved in that church, but I also believe giving as much authority to the Pope a...

Re: Which Katrina/Eugene episode was your favorite?
It Ended With a Handshake...The Right Choice....For Whom the Wedding Bells Toll.... Especially the last one I mentioned. Something about Eugene panicking over Katrina's proposal, just after Whit was proposed to by Margaret always gets to me. Eugene panicking always is a source of great amusement to ...

Should Christians (Followers of Jesus) go to War?
This subject might have been touched on before, but I am new here and am therefore wanting to hear your thoughts. So, should followers of Jesus go to War? I say "followers of Jesus" because the name "Christian" is so misused today. Many groups and denominations call themselves &q...

Mandy, you shouldn't dislike Pound Foolish so much. He is to be "pitied" for keeping his mind on dull Emily Jones. He is blind to the fact that characters of 1000 times more worth than Emily are right in Odyssey!!! Poor poor Pound Foolish....
