Re: The E.R.K. Plans to Write

But we still need to figure out what the problem between Morrie, Whit, and Suzu is? Maybe the problem is about the punishment Whit mentioned in Revelations part 3. We don't know what exactly that was, but maybe the Rydell kids don't think it is fair, because to them, they really didn't do anything ...

Re: Album 70

According to the latest Official Podcast, Gregory Jbara will actually be playing Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in The Christmas Bells. I'm not sure if he's playing Wilson in the episode or not, but at least we have confirmation now that the episode will tell the stories that led to the writing of the ...

Re: The E.R.K. Plans to Write

Morrie and Suzu struggle to adjust to their new life and making peace with those who they have harmed. Emily, the one most affected by them, is super cold towards Whit & the Rydells (which is a whole other thing that needs to be dealt with). The Rydells may have to return to Japan if they can't...

Re: The E.R.K. Plans to Write

Here is what I wrote as part of my LCTWTO script: Top floor of Whit’s house, Whit is helping the Rydell kids set up their rooms. WHIT (Drops heavy box) Well that’s the last of the boxes kids. SUZU Thank you, again Mr. Whittaker, for letting us stay here. WHIT Oh, it’s my pleasure Suzu, I’ll enjoy h...

Re: The E.R.K. Plans to Write

My main concern with not doing a script (if we were to do that) would be that since every writer has a different style of writing - the way they describe setting, characters, conversations, etc - it might result in a pretty mixed story. With a script, we are only writing dialogue and thus eliminati...

Re: The E.R.K. Plans to Write

I incidentally I just came across two pages of a script I wrote for the aftermath of TRR. I wrote it like two days before the tile "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" was revealed :).

Re: The E.R.K. Plans to Write

It is highly unlikely that I'll be able to join a Skype group...I think it's a great idea, but I probably won't be able to join if a chat is made. My question is that if we make a chat or even just talk in this topic, is it possible to get everyone online at a certain time? It would be great if we ...

Re: Favorite First Listen?

What are some of the best experiences you have had hearing episodes for the first time? Great question! I have a few episodes, but two that really stand out for me as my "Favorite Frist Listen" are: First, "Shining Armor, Part 1-2" really stand out for me. When I first heard thi...

Re: The E.R.K. (Emily Rules Klub)

We could possibly write the outline on a new forum on the SS. A Skype (or whatever, you name it) group chat could be more efficient and our group isn't too large. But again, I don't know if everybody would be willing to go beyond the SS. I'd need the feedback of each of the E.R.K. members (so post ...

Re: The E.R.K. (Emily Rules Klub)

Polehaus53 & I have pretty solid predictions. I think I would have fun, but I'd need the input of other members to know if they're interested. If we wanted to try to get as close to "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" as possible, it would probably make the most sense to write it as a sc...

Re: The Martyr and the Rooster

Just listened to it, and I too will have to listen again, but I liked it on the first time through at least! A couple things that stood out to me were that first, it wasn't predictable. I was really surprised by every plot twist. Second, as much as I feel like the Calhouns have been kind of the tok...

After me being burned out on the multi parters from Album 69, I am happy that we're getting an album with all single episodes this time.

Re: 894: A Simple Reminder

I really enjoyed this episode. There was a lot of great humor in it. It was a masterful script by Phil Lollar. The only problem? I've heard this story before. For those that don't know, Phil Lollar was a writer and creative consultant in another audio drama called Kids Corner. It was a show that al...

Re: Album 70

I've been waiting almost a year to hear "Jumping Off, Jumping In" since I saw the BTS photos, video, and description. It was supposed to be in album 69 according to Facebook but got pushed back for obvious reasons. It looks so good! I'm looking forward to it the more I think about it. I a...

Re: Blackgaard Chronicles BOMBSHELL

Carl, I think Professor M is a reference to a Professor Mongol (sp?) in the Young Whit books. I haven't read them, but I have watched the Adventures in Odyssey Oddcast reviews of them (I need to buy them lol) and they made that connection. That completely blanked my mind. The last time I read a You...
