Re: Pop or Soda?

I usually identify it by brand name—or if I'm feeling really pretentious, "carbonated drink". ;) But I am aware of and have heard people down here talk about a Coke and they're referring to pretty much any soft drink that isn't brand-name Coca-Cola.

Re: Favorite AIO Message Board

You know, I came into this thread all prepared to defend the ToO—I've been a member of that board for almost five years now, and I feel a kind of attachment to it. But looking at PF's remarks made me think about it, and he has a good point—I think it's been phrased in a rather abrasive manner, but i...

Re: Personality types of characters

Agreed. That makes a considerable amount of sense, actually.

I have some thoughts on the others:

Jason: ESTP
Richard Maxwell: ENTP
Jack: INFJ
Joanne: ISFJ
Jenny might be an ESFJ, but I'm not too sure.

Re: Who is the Best Whit?

The people who grew up on the older episodes or like those episodes better prefer Hal, the people like me who grew up largely in the Novacom and post-Novacom era or who listen to those episodes most often prefer Paul, and the people who are just experiencing Odyssey or lean more toward the relaunch...

Agreed. The Jack-and-Jason era was one of the best.

Re: Album 58: The Ties That Bind Discussion

BLAH. That's my response. :P I hate how GRC is all the same title, I can't remember what on earth happens in an individual episode, because I don't remember numbers, and they have no connection to the story to me. I'm really not looking forward to having the same problem with this album... QFT. I w...

Hey, y'all; that'll be down here in the South. :D Although whatever you call it, I don't like any soft drinks—not a fan of the fizz.

Re: Album 58: The Ties That Bind Discussion

I didn't think it would be. I felt pretty sure that the AIO team would do something different from the GRC, and I'm pretty sure they're more creative than "The Ties That Bind, Parts 1-14". ;) But that's the rumor that's circulating around the wiki.

Re: Personality types of characters

I think she would straddle the line, most likely (though to be perfectly honest, it kind of came down to who I thought was a better fit for the ESTJ type, and to me Liz works better in that role). Sarah strikes me as the kind of person who likes being around other people and being in charge, but is ...

Re: Odyssey's Spoofs on Other Media

I think my favorite of the spoofs from "The Present Long Ago" was Arnold Schwarzenbanger. "Of course you did this. That's because I am so massively perfect. In my movies I need a whole stunt man just to play my left arm!" I also liked Bill Crosby, though I didn't really get a who...

Re: Movies

I think that the Blackgaard and Novacom sagas would do well as animated movies—not the rather poorly animated videos we all know and...are iffy about, but well-thought out, legitimately planned, painstaking animation with real attention and care paid to it. You wouldn't have to cartoonishly exaggera...

Re: Who is the Best Whit?

Paul. Definitely Paul. I think PF has a point in saying that none of them are objectively better than the other—their acting is great and their chemistry with their co-actors is wonderful for all three. I think what it comes down to is which actor you grew up with and which era you lean towards. The...

Re: Personality types of characters

That could work for Jason, but it seems more accurate for Connie. I think Jason might be more ESTP or ENTP—they tend to be the more mischievous, think-on-their-feet types.

Re: Personality types of characters

I actually wanted to make a chart for this with the second generation of Odyssey kids—mostly because I'm just weird that way. I made art for it and everything, but I haven't had the chance to get the thing made. Sarah: ISTJ Mandy: ISFJ Aubrey: INFJ Trent: INTJ Kelly: ISTP Grady: ISFP Alex: INFP Dway...

Re: favorite AIO moment?

One of my favorites would have to be in "Breaking Point" when Whit finally relents and lets Barry work on the Imagination Station—not because he's bone-tired, but because Alex almost got hurt. It really encapsulates a huge part of who Whit is—even with his misgivings about Barry, he won't ...

Re: Album 58: The Ties That Bind Discussion

I'm an editor on the wiki, and there are rumors that The Ties That Bind will be a fourteen-part episode. Perhaps that is what is meant by that? I haven't seen any sources that confirm this, so this is just a guess.
