Re: Have Your Deepest Desires/Predictions Ever Come True?

Harlow is an all time favorite character of mine and I really wanted him to come back in some new episodes. But then they put him in The Ties That Bind and he was handled badly. I know he's a hard character to get right, but the writing just felt lazy. Be careful what you wish for, I guess.

3. It has a sports competition.
4.Connie asks if a character has hallucinations of mouthwash commercials.

Re: Other Things that the Actors have Done

I've been watching more Talespin lately and it turns out that a lot more Odyssey actors played minor characters in the show. Jerry Houser (Jellyfish) Kenneth Mars (Fredrick Holstein) Pete Reneday (Logan Smiler, Owen Birch) Joan Gerber (Mrs. Rossini, Mrs. Hooper) Phil Crowley (Mr. Burnette -Eugene's ...

Re: Other Things that the Actors have Done

I watched an episode of Talespin earlier today where Townsend Coleman played a radio announcer. It was only a line or two but it was definitely him.

Re: Explain Episodes Badly

This game is amazing! The Y.A.K Problem: kids get paranoid resulting in lonely army men, riots, and a solution to pollution. A Class Act: A man experiences freedom from Charles' bellybutton and a pizza delivery donkey only to end up disappointing rich people. Top This: A man locks himself in a room ...

Re: Who was the Chairman?

My theory is that the chairman is really just a nobody hired as a human puppet for Sascha, Dr. Blackguard's cat, who is the true mastermind!

Re: 101 Reasons Connie and Jason are NEVER Getting Married

Speculation Time! If Jason was eight during the last year of American involvement in the Vietnam War, he'd be 55 in real world time. If Connie was say 16 in 1987, she'd be 49 in real world time. But today Connie seems no older than her late 20's odyssey time (probably closer to early to mid twentie...

Re: Best Scenes In Odyssey History

Some favorites of mine include when Eugene is trying to say goodbye to Whit as Whit's leaving for the Middle East. And when Connie is explaining to Scrub about "Whit will always be Whit, he's just in a different place". The "you are still speaking with your mind Eugenius!" scene....

A Mission for Jimmy Jimmy dreams that he and Dan Isidro are trying to get a sick boy to a doctor in Nicaragua. The Seven Deadly Dwarves Bethany Shepherd has a dream where the 7 dwarves are holding her hostage in a cottage... cheese house. Total trainwreck of an episode. The Pretty Good Samaritan Ch...

My profile pic is Sport from Little Dogs on the Prairie when he's hiding in a tumbleweed. Thought it would match my username pretty well.

Re: Ask Me Odyssey Trivia Questions

The other day, October 29th, was National Cat Day. In the spirit of that and in doing things exactly when we get around to them, try to name at least four named audio show felines and one of their appearances each. For extra credit, list at least two appearances made by other cats who aren't named....

Re: The Darkest AIO episode.

When I was a kid, I was terrified of that episode with the talking chicken and It Happened at Four Corners. It was horrifying with Eugene and Bernard trapping each other underground forever. Ironically, I really like "four corners" now, it's hilarious. But as for the darkest episode I thin...

Personally, I like That Hideous Strength the best, but the whole Space Trilogy is awesome. Lately I've been reading a really boring Russian novel called Doctor Zhivago.

Re: Introduce yourself!

Howdy, I'm a GreatKindheartedBush! I've been an Odyssey fan for almost my life and there are way too many characters for me to pick a favorite. Odyssey tapes have been the only good part of our family's 8 hour round trips to get hay for as long as I remember. Sometimes I'm a little awkward, but as f...
