Re: My Little Pony (and other "guilty pleasure" kids shows)

Just saw this.. In light of the recent MLP revolution I think it's hilarious how people were all like I WILL ALWAYS HATE MLP but they are the ones that like the show now...

We can all learn from this.. don't knock it 'til you try it.

It was really fun skyping with the two of you. I wish I was able to actually be there with you both! I also wish I was able to skype from my room so the camera angle was better.. but oh well!

Thanks for skyping with me, it was awesome. :D :D

Re: Introduce yourself!

Welcome to the SS Emily. I also love books by L.M. Montgomery and Jane Austin (the ones I have read anyway). Musicals are fantastic. The Phantom of the Opera is my favorite movie of all time, but they play is way better. Oh, and almost all of us here are homeschooled or were at some point in time so...

Re: Matthew Parker

I am not saying that I dislike Matthew, I do like Matthew. I was just watching a little girl and expressed her outrage that he wasn't smarter. She is younger then his character is and she is smart but with an average 8 year old intelligence. I forget specifics because I am not currently listening to...

Happy Hunting

In this episode Penny goes hunting for happiness. What did you think of her hunt? Have you tried to find happiness in any of the ways she tried? Do you think her hunt was successful, did she really find happiness? Whit was talking about how we can't manufacture happiness, it is an emotion and it can...

Re: Matthew Parker

Bringing it back! So I was babysitting the other night and brought along some AIO to listen to with the kids. But we were talking about the characters and the story lines and everything. It was super fun, like a real life SS, with small children (drinking tea, AIO, popcorn, fun stuff). Back to my po...

I also had this game come to think of it: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51CKP5E8E1L._SL500_AA300_.jpg I forgot I had it and don't remember much about it but thinking about the ROC made me think of the ROC card and I remember we had the game. It looked like this when open and all: http://www....

Re: What's a Cassette?

Sometimes when I need an AIO to listen to and don't feel like thinking about which I want to hear, I will just push the little play button on my tape player and listen to whatever is in there. It's usually my favorite "Waylaid in a Windy City part 1 and 2" favorite episodes, and on both si...

Re: The SS family tree

Okay...... No cousins? So, If we wanna be "related" we have to be bro/sis right? Got it. =) Nope, I wasn't saying there couldn't be cousins, I just didn't put them on my chart because it would make it too hard to read. I just made the chart so you all could check it out and see how intere...

This chart is of the brother/sister relationships ONLY. There are no cousins in here, no marriages, nada. Just for your reference.

Re: The Lost Riddle

The Jones and Parker Detective Agency had a new type of case this time. This mystery was the first one (to my memory) where the result of the solved mystery was actually one of real consequence and life changing for someone. So in a way, I liked the episode. The episode had real purpose and meaning ...
