Re: Odyssey Crossing Some Lines?

Out of the four mentioned (answering machine, suicide pact, George Washington, and Camilla) I would find the one about the "suicide pact" the most problematic. The one I probably have the least problem with is the answering machine one. I don't really know what the problem is. I don't thin...

Re: Choose your own regular Cast

Because screw Mr. Whitaker. Jack's advice giving methods are far more entertaining.[/i] Wow. Gettin' rid of Mr. Whittaker. I'll borrow that idea. I like your list as a whole. Here's one version of the show I'd think would be cool: 1. Jason Whitaker 2. Jack Allen Co-running Whit's End together again...

Re: Snow Day! Best episode ever, or should have never been m

I remember when it showed up on the radio, fans were still a little sensitive about overly ridiculous episodes. "Virtual Realities" and "In your Wildest Dreams" weren't very popular because of the abundance of the silliness/unrealism and lack of real drama. The two following albu...

Choose your own regular Cast

It's funny to think that many of our own favourite Odyssey characters haven't existed at the same time. If you could pick and choose any 15 characters from any album and combine them into a season/series, who would you pick? Here's a chance to put together "a perfect cast" by putting all t...

Rusty Gordon

Rusty Gordon was one of my favourite characters - he was a perfect henchmen and actually seemed like an intimidating bully, unlike Rodney. The thing is, when Darkness Before Dawn came around, I kinda felt like he was coming around a little bit, ya know? He wanted to take down Jellyfish and didn't re...

Re: Actors you'd like to hear on AIO

Off the top of my head - Michael Caine. I think he'd be great - if not on AIO - on Radio Theatre. There are so many, however. I'm actually surprised that AIO hasn't had a lot of so-called "star Cameos". I mean, they've had amazingly talented actor over the years, but none that they've had ...

Re: Christian vs. Catholic

Hey guys, I've skimmed over part of this conversation, and while I don't think I have much to add, I do think that are a few things we need to remember. In recent decades, Protestants have -- I think, wrongly -- ganged up on Catholics and generalized their beliefs/traditions. I've done it in the pas...

Re: What's a Cassette?

The worst was when you're listening through your old batch of Odyssey episodes and you realize that a sibling that was listening to them long before you never actually made it to the side B of the episode, so you'd have to take the time and rewind side A

First world 90s problems.

Honestly, if this is all true. I would be very happy. I think Connie is in need for some good drama, lately, and the issue with her father has always been interesting to me.

Half sister, rather. :)
Haha. And I was trying so hard not to accidentally say "Sister-in-law". I get all of those mixed up. ;)

Re: Who is the secret character?

Well, according to an AIO UPDATE's Tweet, Katie Leigh said on Facebook that the man in the background was "Allan Berman", which some have interpreted as "Alan Bergman".

So it's just one big whopping rumour, really.

Re: Who is the secret character?

Apparently the actor in the background is Alan Bergman - who played Connie Kendall's Dad, Bill Kendall. ...which might mean Shona is playing Bill Kendall's daughter...or Connie Kendall's step-sister. I don't know if the number of ### should necessarily be counted since the hints have differed for Sh...

Adventures in Odyssey - The MOVIE

Your task has been to produce for 20th Century Fox 3D-animated movie adaptation of Adventures in Odyssey. The movie can only be 2 hours and a half, but you have to satisfy both die-hard fans of the show and regular ticket buyers who have never heard of Adventures in Odyssey. Your budget is 150 milli...

If someone came up to me and used the word "AIO-er" in a sentence, I'd just assume they had a stutter and wouldn't know what they were talking about.

But, good question.

@Ben, are you planning on writing a fanfic based on one of these, possibly?
No. That would be cool though. I'd definitely recommend someone trying.

Four Characters are trapped in an elevator...

If you had write a two-parter AIO episode about four characters trapped in an elevator, which four characters would it be, and why? Choose any characters from any point of time during the show for maximum hilarity/conflict!

Re: The "Skip a few years" idea

There were so many changes made around that time that it really was too much to handle for many. The 5 year gap would have simply helped to explain those changes. I mean, Paul Herlinger had a good, logical excuse for why Whit's voice sounded different, why couldn't Stojka? It would have also explain...
