Re: The Soda Shop's 11th Anniversary!
Wow, 11 years! It is so very hard to believe. I remember joining during a very transitional time of my life in 2012. I made some very dear friends. I periodically listen to Adventures in Odyssey (especially now, while raising up 2 future Odyssean listeners! :D ) and will forever remember the wonderf...

Re: Doctor Who?
I have been watching the season as it comes out on Amazon Prime. I had my doubts, but I am loving this new doctor! She is amazing. My brothers and I all agreed, though, that she reminds us of the 10th doctor a lot, with her quips and making things up as she goes. That may be why I like her so much, ...

OH MY GOODNESS. My grandpa just gave me his, which is a vintage-looking waffle maker. It's the cutest thing to make waffley-goodness on this whole planetTea Ess wrote:I got a Belgian waffle maker and it’s amazing.

Re: Movies
My parents paid for our entire family (6 people+my boyfriend) to see the Incredibles 2. I tell you, my dad has waited for this movie for 14 long years. Every time (and I am not kidding) a sequel for another movie would come out (such as Cars 2 or Finding Dory) he would always comment on how he was s...

Re: When did it die?
Life happened. I used to spend hours in the chatbox with people I considered good friends. Since then, all of us have gotten older, gone off to college, gotten married etc. I myself will be starting my internship very soon and will be graduating college. It's crazy, but like Helios said, we are tran...

So, guys, life has been insanely crazy. I am starting my student teaching February 1st Which then means graduation in December. It's so close.
In other news, I felt very adult-ish this week as I went and signed up for my first gym membership.

The dessert. Though I'm sure you could celebrate the hair product or moose instead. National Mousse Day has a very inclusive history. I've had to sneeze on and off for like three days now and I can't. :( Here, you can have mine... I've had a cold since I got back from Africa Monday (Going from 90 t...

Re: Chatter in the Booths
I was listening to The Black Veil, and at the part where Alex is describing his dream of being the monster and the suspenseful music in the background, I suddenly thought of Stranger Things. Guys, It wasn't Novacom, it was all a ploy from the Upside Down.

Re: College Confusion
I took 14 credit hours. It depends on the class for study time. I took Math 2 my freshman year and totally forgot to study for my final and I still passed with a high A in that class. It depends. I'm with Belle, attend class and do the work! Also, wait to buy your books, that's a huge expense. You m...

Re: Prayer Requests!
Prayers for me and my church family would be greatly appreciated. A young man in our youth group (about 17 years old) tragically died the other day. It has hit our church family very hard, especially my brother who was friends with him. He was very loved and had a heart for Christ (I served with him...

Yes, the Space Between Us was a huge letdown. I had heard so much hype about it... But it was terrible. I just saw A United Kingdom and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you liked Hidden Figures, you'd like this one. A very thought provoking movie. I also saw Lion which I thought was good, especially since ...

Re: Vote for your favorite movie of 2016
I haven't actually seen Rogue One yet (my boyfriend keeps wanting me to see it, but we haven't gotten around to it, and frankly I'm not that enthusiastic about the whole "let's add on a dozen more movies to something that could just be left alone" but that's just me ;) ) But on this list.....
