Re: jimmy
How come they never had Donna make any appearances? Jimmy has called in Connie's show, had whole episodes devoted to him...but we never hear much about Donna except that she's in college.

Re: Eugene
You have such a way of putting things! Exactly! Also, his incident with applesauce and his relationship with Nicholas really taught him a lot as well. After that he seemed a lot more...feeling. For once, he didn't DO the logical thing. As for him lording logic, we really saw Katrina's affect on him ...

Re: Wooton, Camilla, and Priscilla: Supposed Annoyingness
You're right Pound Foolish...you're so right. I read your post about 5 times to let it sink in. I think a lot of listeners just have a hard time accepting change. "But change can help you change, and that can be a good thing". Odyssey has changed a lot. But we were there for the 'old' char...

Re: Eugene
Yes, he did become less wordy after becoming a Christian. But in the beginning of Odyssey, it was seriously hardly to understand him. By volume 9, he was a lot better. -- Fri Feb 08, 2013 5:15 pm -- well one thing to consider also is that as time went by and the gang at whits end loved and accepted ...

Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for your kind welcome!!!! I really like it here. My name is Sage and I’ll throw out some random facts about myself. Everyone says I look like Alicia Keys. I love AIO, my church, and Alma College. I started using a fake British accent when I was 6, so now it’s ju...

Which AIO episodes have made you cry?
Odyssey is so close to my heart that nowadays, every episode makes me cry. Maybe I'm just getting old, but whenever I listen to an episode that I heard as a kid, I cry. Odyssey has always been there for me. Aside from that, what are some major tear-jerker episodes??? Have any episodes made you REALL...

Re: Debating Robert Mitchell
How can anyone call him names because Connie wasn't able to move past Odyssey and be his wife???? The bible says you're SUPPOSED to leave your parents and cleave to your husband...but Connie just couldn't handle that. tsk tsk.... BUT...the way he returned and treated Connie was pretty low-down. I be...

Re: Nick Mulligan: your thoughts?
Did Nick ever become a Christian? Wasn't the last episode with him in it the one where Aubrey is trying to witness to him? Anyways, i really agree with you...he was a very unique and much- needed character. You know what? He was to the Mulligans what Kelly was to the Washingtons...even though it was...

Re: Connie + Jason = <3
Ok that would be awkward for many reasons. They have entirely different personalities. Jason seems attractive to 'the bad girls' and Connie was his employee at one time; plus Mr. Whittaker is her surrogate Father.

Re: Does Marriage Really Change a Character?
Marriage doesn't seem to change them to an unpleasant degree...it just gives them more substance. It makes them a tad more respectable maybe ahah. Ok, in the case of Eugene, becoming a Christian is what made him more mature and he really grew a lot. In every aspect, we saw the true Eugene emerging.....
