The famed writer and producer of such shows
as "Hummingbird Lane" and "Two Guys, a Dog, and a Truck" will be joining the
staff at Novacom Broadcasting next week. Novacom announced at a press
conference yesterday that Mario Plitzo would start writing and producing
shows for the company.
Arthur Dent, a Novacom representative, called Plitzo "just the kind of
creative personality that we at Novacom want to employ." Dent further
explained that Plitzo would be producing three yet-to-be announced shows on
Novacom's spring line-up.
Plitzo's name raised a few eyebrows among parents in Odyssey since some of
his past shows have dealt with more mature comedy and have been at the
center of controversy due to their content. Dent declined comment about
Plitzo's past shows, but said that his shows for Novacom, like all of the
company's programming, would be "closely monitored by a panel of viewers,
including parents."
