It was the best of shows, it's now the worst of shows....

Unfortunately, that can happen with well-loved episodes. You hear them once, your hear them twice, maybe even three times in loving and open hearts. But the fourth time....

Something goes terribly wrong...something is awaken inside you and all of a sudden you don't like that show anymore. I mean, with all Christian love in mind, it can be beared but you still want to grit your teeth because the drama's so...boring. So, my advice is, don't listen to a show to many times, even if it's you're most favorite episode on earth.

I wish I had taken my own advice a while back, and now maybe I wouldn't be in such torture while listening to episodes such as "It's a Pokenberry Christmas." Sure, it's wonderful with all the spoofs on that old, but nice movie called "It's a Wonderful Life." Sure, the humor works well. Even the pathetic drama slips through unharmed. It's just boring. Plain ol' boring, 500th time heard. It still has the occasional thing that works, but not like in "Gifts for Madge and Guy," which can't help but work every time.

But, enough about the "Once-heard-never-liked-again" angel of this show. I figure I should comment on the acting.

Was that too long for you? The acting has nothing that wonderful or bad about it. It was nice to hear from some old characters, but the acting was hardly breath-taking. It's funny how Whit and Eugene just pull out a plane or train ticket in many episodes and go to wherever they wish. Really, how unbelievable is that!

The music is the only real thing worth commenting on. Great music. Love the little harp at the end of part one, indicating that it things may not be as they appear. Or something silly like that. The "falling-into-the-water-getting-out-again-I-feel-fine-but-I-can-sense-nothing-is-as-it-was" scene had great water effects (AIO's getting good at doing those) and some good refrences to the movie. But that had nothing to do with the music or sound effects. That's okay, though, because I have nothing else to say.

In this whole review. Review's over, you can go home now...or whatever you want to do. I've commented enough, haven't I?

How come I have this weird feeling that I should say more? But I don't have anything else to say! All-in-all, though, it was a passable show with some great spoofs (love it when Donna say "wrong movie) and sound effects...what we need now is more original Barclay shows!
