Whoa, where did these new characters pop
out from? One of the things that frustrates me most about AIO is when
they introduce new characters at the wrong time. It sounds as though
Whit is getting ENGAGED to a woman we've never heard before but instead
of being caught up in the moment, I was trying to figure out these new
characters, Ben and Esther. Would I like them? Are they brother and
sister? I kept thinking how much better Jimmy and Donna would have been
for those parts.
As for the rest of the episode, Connie tends to jump to conclusions, but
I expected Tom to be a little more level-headed... He wasn't. Being the
good friend that he is, he could have at least shown Whit respect by
confirming the engagement instead of going overboard on a whim. Maybe
I've been too dramatic, but overall, this episode was a disappointment.
