It is with great excitement that we announce our 14th anniversary. On December 22, 2000, The Odyssey Scoop launched during a time when Adventures in Odyssey fan sites were a new concept. Fans of the past relied heavily on listening to the popular audio drama on the radio only and a transition was beginning to happen to make the show more accessible online. The first generation of Odyssey fans grew up with the show during the 1980’s and 1990’s and many of them are still fans today. Who would have ever thought that the show would last this long and continue to inspire families?

Each year, we like to thank our loyal fans who have faithfully returned to our site to learn the latest in Adventures in Odyssey news. We never dreamed that The Odyssey Scoop would survive this long. However, with all the emails of encouragement and contributions fans have made in the past and present, how could we possibly not keep it going?

So, thank you fans—past and present—for being so loyal and checking back. We’ve become an expansive (and exhaustive!) resource for all things Odyssey. Happy anniversary to The Odyssey Scoop! Regardless of which generation you fall in, the timelessness of Adventures in Odyssey brings us all together and we’re thankful that the show has been supported for so long.
