Pat Woodland
Composer
Woodland Music Productions Founder,
Patrick Woodland grew up in southern California and
earned his Bachelor of Music degree at UCLA, and
University of Puget Sound. His career as a
composer/producer started when a movie producer insisted
on using Patrick's songs and wanted to meet him. When
Patrick composed his first piece of music to picture
shortly after that initial meeting, he realized his true
passion. It was with his encouragement that Patrick
began his career as a television / film composer and
producer. Many successful projects ensued, such as
composing and producing weekly songs for Warner Bros.
"I'll Fly Away", airing on NBC. During the next few
years he developed both his composing and technical
skills. In 1997 while writing weekly songs for the hit
NBC television series Profiler, discussions
started with Richard Bredice, a popular local recording
producer, to create and build a new studio. Pat composed
music for some of Adventures in Odyssey's early
shows, beginning with
The
Meaning of Sacrifice and ending with
The
Benefit of the Doubt.
