Behind the Scenes

Image of the CD version of "The Love and... CHRONICLES"Believe it or not, The Love and... CHRONICLES began with three kids, a tape recorder, a microphone, and some music CD's. The production of Episode One was easier than future episodes. With only one evening to spare (Valentines Day 1999) the episode was produced. It's interesting to note that the music in Love and War and future episodes was not timed and placed in carefully. It just sort of happened perfectly!

Did You Know?

The name of the host of The Love and... CHRONICLES is roughly based on a renowned British actor. The host of these dramas is named Robert Sushi, while the host of Focus on the Family Radio Theater is named David Suchet. He is most-known for his role as Aslan in the seven Chronicles of Narnia.

What is "The Love and... CHRONICLES"?

Image of the album version of "The Love and... CHRONICLES""The Love and... CHRONICLES" is a series of four episodes produced by the Kisses. The show began in 1999 with three kids, a tape-recorder, a microphone, a classical music cassette, and a very annoying brother who wouldn't stop making noise during production. The Kisses' first drama, "Love and War," was immediately accepted in the family and the Kisses immediately began their sequels. The Kisses' dramas lasted until 2000 as they saw their lack of dedication, hence, The Kisses are no more. Not only did the Kisses make audio dramas, they also made two mystery videos. "Total Annihilation" and "Total Annihilation 2" were immediately loved by the family. The Kisses consisted of Caleb Soudry, Jacob Isom, and Abigail Isom. All episodes include: "Love and War," "Love and a Jungle Treehouse," "Love and Addicting Over-the-Counter Drugs," and "Love and the Haunted Clock Tower." Unfinished episodes include: "Love and the Revolt of the Poultry" and "Love and the Cardboard Box."

Introducing the Characters

Image of the CD version of "The Love and... CHRONICLES"Marsha Jonworthy This very tough individual is known for her colossal tupperware parties. Marsha enjoys a good bowl of Choco Chums on occasion and Ruggles ice cream as well. She enjoys a good hoedown when invited and is very picky who she dates. The love of her life is Jon Dinkleberry.

Jon Dinkleberry Not only has Jon served time in an immense war, he has also served community service at the local pharmacy, where, on one occasion met the love of his life, Marsha Jonworthy. Jon believes in "love in first sight" and will do anything to be noticed. Jon enjoys taking Marsha out on dates at the local Target store and sitting on the restaurant's rotating stools.

Narrator You'll see this guy pop in every few conversations. The narrator knows how to do his job. Communicating to the largest audience in the world is no easy task.

Robert Sushi Being a spin-off of a real actor we won't mention, Robert Sushi is a real wonder. As the host of each episode fans place their fears on him as their wrap-around guy.
