What would you think if
Connie and Mitch decided to get married? Are there any issues holding their
relationship back? Is it okay for their relationship to move forward? Is
there something in the way that you just need to tell the world?
I
don't want Connie & Mitch to get married. Connie definately isn't mature
enough. She washes dress shirts and forgets the tops of blenders, for
goodness sake! I think she and Mitch should stay together, but Mitch
shouldn't be such the center of her life. More like it was 2 years ago. And
what if she has to move to Budapest? I don't think she realizes what a HUGE
impact this will have on her life. And she CAN'T leave Oddyssey! There would
be no point in the show if Connie wasn't a regular character!
The
problem is I want her to be happy, too (I know that sounds rediculous
talking about a radio character, but...)! Breaking up with Mitch isn't good
but neither is getting married! I'd like something in-between.

It
will neva, neva, happen! Mitch and Connie SHOULD NOT (and need I repeat it
SHOULD NOT!) get married. She's only sixteen for goodness' sake! *oh wait,
you say she's moved on now? But she's been sixteen FOREVER!* That's the way
her relationship with Mitch should be. She shouldn't move on. They can date
all they want, but PLEASE don't let them get married! Ugene and Katrina got
married, and look! They disappeared! I definitely don't think that poor
Connie and Mitch should get married. Can I ever stress it enough?

I
REALLY, REALLY, REALLY WANT THEM TO GET MARRIED!!!!!!! SOON!!!! MITCH'S JOB
SHOULD NOT COME BEFORE CONNIE!!! I DON'T CARE IF HE WANTS TO GO TO
BUDAPEST!!!! CONNIE COMES FIRST!!!!!! THEY HAVE TO GET MARRIED, AND
SOON!!!!! IT IS DEFANITLY OKAY FOR THEM TO GO AHEAD IN THEIR
RELATIONSHIP!!!! MITCH NEEDS NEW PRIORITIES, LIKE CONNIE, NOW!!!!!! Thank
You.

I
think I'd stop listening to the show--thankfully they're not...
--Robyn, Age 15
I
don't care either way... the character of Connie has been going downhill
ever since she met Mitch. What difference would it make if they married?
...yes,
I'm taking a cynical point of view here... but I really would prefer it if
they didn't marry.

I
have been looking at this forum for a while now, trying to decide what I
think...and I think that I've thought long enough about thinking. They
diffinitely SHOULD NOT get married. Connie is way to immature. I'll probably
think differently about this later, but it's just that Connie is
so...different than she used to be, that's all. I wish that we could get the
old Connie back. (Tear) :(

My
Name speaks how I feel. If Connie gets married to Mitch I will no longer be
an Odyssey fan. I will just listen to the GOOD old ones and pretend they
have quit doing AIO.
--Odyssey Fan until Connie Gets Married
I'd
be sooo happy!! I can't wait until they get married!
They
are getting married!?!?!?
--Alaynah, Age 11, Louisiana
I
have never been mad about a choice made in AIO. I mean mad enough to make me
grouchy until now. I was NOT happy at ALL with the Connie saying yes! It was
soo sappy! They are rushing into this too fast! Even Eugene and Katrina had
a long engagment before they got married! And now that they are married they
are GONE!!!!! And now Connie is going to get married in a couple days and
then they will ALSO be GONE!! This is NOT good! Even if AIO makes it so
something goes wrong and they don't get married I still will be MAD!!!! I
like it when AIO makes it so you can't wait to hear the next weeks show! But
when people get mad over what has happened I think they took their
"Keep listening" thing TOO FAR!!! I do hope that Connie will come
back to her sences and say no. I believe that Connie will not be happy with
Mitch when he is in the FBI because she has always been very unhappy when
they guy she likes doesn't show up! And to make it worse I highly doubt AIO
will divorse t hem so they will propably be married till the end of the
show. AIO PLEASE DON'T LET THEM GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!

I
am totally against Connie's marrying Mitch. She is not mature enough to
handle marriage. I do not see her lasting 10 seconds in Hungary. She would
go crazy. She was alot better before she met Mitch.
--Laurie, Illinois
Grrrr!
Don't speak to me of marriage! No. Absolutely not. Hm-mm. Nope. Nein. Non!
Can I say it more clearly? Connie gets more immature by the episode, and
Mitch's slow drawl begins to drive me a little bit bonkers. I admire the
fact that he has moved to my home state: it shows courage and a love of true
scenic beauty. He should stay here, and Connie should stay in Odyssey.
Enough said. :-)

They
have decided to get married...and Connie is definately not ready. There
relationship should be as it was in the old days. Connie is in the way of
the relationship, big-time.

After
listening to this week's episode we know that this IS what they have
decided. I personally do not think that this is a good idea at the present
time in their relationship. I think that the writers are not presenting the
right message as far as marriage is concerned when it comes to the way they
have handled Mitch and Connie's engagement. They have had them rush into it.
(I do realize that Eugene and Katrina did this as far as when they got
married, but it was completely different. The writers gave us a chance to
get to know Katrina. It was the "right time" for them to get
married. I think we would all agree that they had waited long enough!) The
only reason why Mitch "popped the question" is so that they can be
together in Budapest. I think it would have been better for them to realize
that they should use that time to really see if their relationship could
hold up during, yet another trial. It would have been a better testimony to
God's sovereignty and "how He works everything out to the good of those
who love Him". By them getting married it is like they are not trusting
God. I really don't feel as if the writers have allowed us, the fans, to get
to know Mitch as well as they could have before taking this major step. To
me it also seems as if Connie is still a little too immature for marriage at
this time in her life. By the way, Thanks! for giving us this forum to let
the world know how we feel!!

I
completely support the marriage.
