Faith Bible Fellowship
Website: fbfchurch.org During
the fall 2002 season, my local church, Faith Bible Fellowship, had the
opportunity to begin ministering to the congregation and to the world
at-large on the Internet. I was asked if I would like to begin designing a
website for the church. Gladly I agreed and got to work immediately.
Initially, the design featured a white background with a tan color scheme.
However, due to excessive negative space not being used, I sat down with a
friend of the family to choose a proper color scheme that would be fresh,
appealing, and conservative. Finally, we decided on a blue-purple-green
scheme. Nearly two weeks later after long hours, the final layout of
the site was completed.
With a layout in hand and content to
create, I quickly put together the tedious material and finished the interior of
the site. And with any church activity, whether it be running PowerPoint
or updating a website, I turn my talents over to the One who gave them to
me. Without the Lord, it would have never been possible to create a
website that, in my opinion, looked so good.
Within the year, I delved into putting
together a message board for the youth group. The website has advanced
quite a bit. However, due to my attendance at Pensacola Christian College
in Florida, the FBF website updates are temporarily at a standstill.
