In Your Wildest Dreams

The latest collection of episodes from the
popular Adventures in Odyssey radio program is now available from Focus on
the Family. The new album is the 34th in the series of radio programs based
loosely on events of our town.
The title, In Your Wildest Dreams, reflects some of the more fantastic
nature of some of the programs. Highlights include a crazy story by Bernard,
trips in the Room of Consequence and inside Eugene's head, a couple of
Bethany's dreams, and even a journey to another universe.
While I really enjoyed all of the episodes, I thought that a couple of them
were a little off the wall. In "Sunset Bowlawater," a dead goldfish talks
and in "I Slap Floor," Bart Rathbone wants to open a space camp. Like Bart
would have time to open a space camp while running the Electric Palace! My
friend Mandy Straussberg turned in an especially noteworthy performance as
herself.
Overall, this is an excellent collection of the popular audio series, with
many exciting and funny episodes. It was a good way to relive memories of
some of the events the episodes were based on.
