Devil in White impossible to judge
Devil in White, the latest in the
continuing series of controversial Novacom shows, premieres this weekend on
Novacom channel 25. In fact, word of the controversy and protests must have
gotten to the producers because they haven't allowed critics to screen the
first show.
So right now, all that we're left with as critics are snippets of
information that have leaked out about the production. What has generated
the most upheaval on the show is the supposed violence and occult themes.
Novacom has admitted that the show will be the most "visceral" of any of the
shows they have produced (a phrase which they have used in the past to
denote shows that have the most violent content). Novacom has declined
comment about any occult themes, but many of the actors have hinted in
interviews that the show will involve a lot of supernatural activity. It
will really just be a guessing game until Devil in White actually
airs this weekend.
