Liz Horton

Liz Horton has a mind of her own. She arrived in Odyssey when she was much younger and has grown up a lot ever since. In her beginning days, she was a selfish little brat, consumed with having the last word and pulling pranks. However, as time passed, she discovered that being a brat doesn't keep the right friends. Liz is now a considerate citizen of Odyssey. She still has her stubborn streaks and hot temper, but she suppresses it with the wisdom she has learned.

Originally, it was evident that Connie didn't necessarily like Liz that much. Liz was constantly the brat that caused problems. Now Connie and Liz are close friends. Liz's best friend is Mandy Straussberg, with whom she has had some trouble, but not too much.

Liz enjoys writing for the Odyssey Owl newspaper in school and has written several reviews, articles, and other things. At one point, Liz's family had to move out of their house because of money problems, but the community was able to help them out a bit.

Currently, Liz is a sympathetic young lady, with experience teaching her valuable lessons about herself. Even though she has made some poor decisions, she is able to learn from them. Her outspokenness will never leave her, nor will her built-in stubbornness.

  • Liz Horton first appeared in the episode Not-So-Trivial Pursuits.

  • Liz Horton is played by actress Lauren Schlaffel.

  • Fans of the show didn't like Liz in her beginning days on the show because of her selfish attitude, but since she has changed, she is easily likeable.

  • Although artwork for Liz features her with dark brown hair, the audio series mentions that she has red hair.
