If you have the Complete Guide (Which I know each and every real fan does), you will know that "everyone in the studio was moved to tears when Connie accepted Jesus." Connie accepting Jesus is great, sure. But also a little, I dunno, maybe a little boring? Eugene's conversion was far better and funny and sad and everything else too. Connie's conversation was a little lifeless and not very touching.

It seemed like this whole episode was a little bit of a "filler." Connie recalls heaps of things that have already happened in her life. Wow. Thanks. Great. But, trying to bring something to your attention writers, most of us have already hear these episodes. They just seemed a time waster.

But, enough about the episode already. What about the characters? Well, Pamela did not seem like a teenager really and the lady that Connie met on the bus was quite good, but sounded quite similar. Eugene was one of the best characters/ actors in this episode. Did a great job like only Will Ryan can do. Had some good lines that he delivered great. Whit and Tom were nice and stuff, but not very memorable. Connie's friend was great, if not really sounded "there." We really should've heard from Bill, but we can't have everything.

The writing was okay. Passable, but could've been done better.

The music wasn't that great and the sound effects were obviously just from tape. Nothing special, there.

But the highlight of the show was the lesson. A lesson I'd like to hear more on Adventures in Odyssey in almost every way. Having a personal relationship with someone that can be everyone's best friend. Jesus, of course. Even the show "Blackgaard's Revenge" is memorable for me because of the lesson-God wants everyone's heart. Even a dampening episode like "Blackgaard's Revenge" with a "horror" theme can have impact on someone for the better. But, enough about BR, I'm reviewing "Karen," wasn't I? Oh no, it was "Connie." Anyway, the lesson was great and stuff. Yeah. I've heard of heaps of people who've accepted Christ because of Adventures in Odyssey. Of all ages. And that is what I love about Adventures in Odyssey-the ability to change lives.

Anyhow, an episode with a great theme but little else. The introduction of Eugene is life-changing, at least to the people in Odyssey, and he'll have lots of comical and emotional adventures. But right now, that's all that I've got to say. The show was interesting and life-changing, but little else. But I've said that.
