Why
is the rating so low? The main reason is because this episode was
completely awful. (what did you think? It had a bad rating because it was
a good episode?) The episode cuts into the drama of Adventures in Odyssey
and was completely dumb. I guess I have to give credit by saying that this
was very original and was a very cute way of teaching kids that...wait a
minute, what did it teach?...oh yeah, responsibility.
But couldn't the writers of Odyssey find a better way of teaching Responsibility?
Who needs Odyssey to be considered cute? Fish can't talk!
"-duhh...day can't?"
No, they can't. I think they could've taken out the idea of little fishy
talking from the story and have an acceptable episode.
Unfortunately, this episode was immediately followed by a couple of other
episodes that were unrealistic and undramatic. (I'm not sure if that's a
word. Whatever.)
Luckily, Odyssey has dumped those ages and jumped into writing
better episodes.
