Jared DeWhite

Jared DeWhite and night vision goggles fit together like a hand and a glove. As an energetic, curious kid in Odyssey, Jared spends a majority of his time thinking about conspiracy theories, CIA agents, and nationwide deception. His imagination often gets him into trouble. His best friend, Dwayne Oswald, often keeps him in line, but even he comes face to face with Jared's interesting personality.

Jared is the type of person who enjoys spying on others to find out what conspiracy might be going on. He is very blunt when dealing with people, and he is often read by others as an insane kid. His closest friends are somewhat like him, otherwise no one would be able to stand him. He is able to learn from his many mistakes, but he gets himself into trouble way too much.

In other words, Jared is a piece of work. An enemy of girls and full of wild ideas, Jared is a fan favorite. He eventually moved out of town, but later showed up during the Novacom Saga. He and his family were placed in the FBI's Witness Protection Program because of what his father knew about Novacom. Following the Novacom Saga, Jared and his brother Trent spent some time attending Odyssey Middle School. Jared and Trent get along well, though Trent seems to be more normal between the two.

When Jared moved away, it was merely mentioned that he moved away. There was no "moving away" episode. Regardless, Jared's personality has always been good for laughs.

  • Jared DeWhite first appears in the episode The Pushover.

  • Jared is voiced by actor Brandon Gilberstadt.

  • Jared's character moved away from Odyssey because Brandon Gilberstadt went to star in his own television show. Fortunately, he became available for Odyssey work again.

  • Due to Brandon's voice changing, the voice didn't match the personality of Jared DeWhite. Therefore, following the Novacom Saga, Jared had to disappear from the Odyssey spotlight.
