End of
the Month
It's
the end of the month and I'm down to just one month until I
enter the college arena. I'm a little down with what's coming up
- in more ways than one. Tomorrow I may be posting a special
announcement that you must not miss, so check back then.
Get
Ready...
"The
Last Flight of the Dragon Lady" premiers today, so you
don't want to miss that either! Visit

In the
Public Spectrum
I've
been up and about, let's just say. Up and about ringing customer
after customer out at my cashier job and getting frustrated with
the public's attitudes in general. It's totally different
working with the public on the Scoop rather than personally.
People yell at me in person, whereas my only insult is
periodically thrown digitally. Oh well, I'll just have to cope.

Scoop
Prankster
Once
again, I must make mention of a certain AIO website on the net
that keeps adding redesigns to its short-lived existence. If you
saw Frank's Breakfast Inn within the last few days, you may have
noticed a brand-new design, which, might I add, is temporary.
Here, take a peek! I
found this little prank to be quite entertaining.

Reviews
By Fans
As
a warm-up to the hopefully-soon updates on the site, I've gone
ahead and updated the Reviews
By Fans section. Several reviews have been added to the fan
collection. I need to get some links posted for "It's
Enough to Blow Your Mind" in their correct sections as
well. That's next on the list.

Just-a-Little-Late
Updates
I
finally motivated myself to update both the
Schedule
and June 2004's
updates pages. Now that those small updates are out of the way,
I have some major updating to do in the next month, all of which
must be finished. One of which you may be surprised to see. Do
you remember the Forum Awards? Well, it's been over a
year since the entries came in, and I need to get back to
judging! Thanks to everyone who reminded me of this error, or,
if you prefer, lack of motivation.

Frank's
Breakfast Inn
If
you've been frequenting
Frank's
Breakfast Inn, then you've probably already noticed that
"Frank" has been updating the site with fresh new
designs as of late. If you haven't been visiting the site, why
not give it a go? "Frank," as I like to call him,
seems to be fighting with a new design and needs help. If you
scroll down on the main page of the site, you can vote in a poll
to help aid "Frank" in designing. It's another AIO
site on the net, besides the Soda
Fountain, that I've seen really stepping things up. Keep it
up to the both of you!

Did
Focus Lose Its Focus?
If
you've been keeping up with Focus on the Family's installments
of Radio Theatre, then you know that Father Gilbert Mysteries
3 is now available in stores. The episode The Play's the
Thing is a harmless and entertaining piece, a large contrast
to The Grey Lady, a chilling episode and questionable
release. It is perhaps the most frightening drama I've heard
from Focus. That says a lot. The mystery focuses on the
existence of ghosts and the supernatural world, and while that
isn't a problem, I wasn't pleased with the outcome of the show.
Father Gilbert's conclusion, as far as I can tell, is unbiblical
in nature. Personally, I think that the episode is so
frightening and intense that it should not have been released by
Focus on the Family, for kids or adults. I will admit that it is
an on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller and does an extremely good
job at keeping your attention, however I believe Focus took a
big risk in releasing this drama. This may very well draw the
line between where this ministry comes from and who may stand
behind them in the future. Or am I just overreacting?
Note:
I do not condemn listening to The Grey Lady. I just
prefer to get the word out that this certainly isn't intended
for children 14 and under. And don't you listen to this episode
in the dark!

Will
That Be Cash or Check?
In
regards to an update on my life outside of AIO, it's definitely
moving forward. I just started work at my local Marc's store as
a cashier, so things have been really hectic. I've been
exchanging a lot of currency and typing in a lot of prices. Not
only that, but it seems to be one of the only things I have time
for nowadays, considering I am saving up for college. That
explains my lack of updates here on the Scoop, so I'm grateful
for your patience in this. I will be making a decision in
regards to the site in the coming weeks and days, so you'll know
in due time. Just keep checking back. The light is always on.

Collective
Bargaining
Right
now I'm in the process of collective bargaining. I am
anticipating the day I will be motivated to begin some work on
some site stuff and am fighting over which section to update
next. I have a general idea of what will be updated, but we'll
see in the future.

End of
the Season Awards
As
planned, AIO HQ and the
Soda
Fountain have released their promised results of the
traditional End of the Season Awards. If you voted or
even failed to vote on time, head on over to both sites and read
about the season. You can also read Nathan and Shadowpaw's
commentaries at both sites.

Mystery
of the Decision-Making
Oh,
just getting a few things taken care of, less things than more,
if you will. I'm trapped in a large decision I have to make
within the next month in regards to the website and the
direction it will take in the future and I'm overwhelmed with
things to get updated on the site this summer. To be honest, I
don't know what to do next and it's really irking me. If you
have any wise counsel to give me, why not
send
me a note and let me know what you want to see updated
first. It should help.
