As valuable and priceless as Eugene's character may be to us, he doesn't seem to be the most valuable character on Adventures in Odyssey right now. Eugene is long-gone and there's no telling when he'll be back. He has appeared on several things since his disappearance from the audio series, fortunately. He's appeared on some Odyssey videos and will be appearing in the new Odyssey computer games as well.

Eugene isn't gone forever, no. He may be gone from the audio series, but AIO is working on bringing him back.
